Breakfast Cove — Restaurant in Atoka

If you are a person of color and live in the Atoka, Oakland, TN, Munford or any surrounding areas of this location please stay clear. When I walked in the server immediately directed me to do a takeout and I told him I was dinning in. I wanted for 10 minutes and no one came to my table to serve me, so I got up and walked back to the register and asked about ordering then my still didn't give me an option and preceeded to make me order my food at the counter. Then the server didn't know the menu I asked him what all meats did they serve and said beef only then a young lady who actually knew the menu finally said all the breakfast meats were pork except the steak. So I ordered my food and told them again that I was dinning in. I saw 4 people come in after I ordered and sat down and yes they were all white. The servers got up and waited on every last one if them but not me. Then when my food finally wad ready it was in takeout plates. I was very upset and angry because I like to try new places often and I tip very well but I did not tip at this place they made me feel like they didn't want me to sit in and eat. The pancakes wasn't good at all, the hash browns was soft and mushy, the toast were ok, the veggie omelet was decent and the steak was average. I do not recommend anyone of color to ear at this place at all. Horrible atmosphere and service. All around 2/10 food...

We have been loyal customers at this restaurant for a long time. We had gone every Sunday religiously. The 1st time we went we both got a meal that came with orange juice and our waitress said we could both get an extra egg instead of the juice because she overheard us saying we don't like orange juice, so we did that EVERY time we went. The last time we went my boyfriend wanted to substitute his pancakes for biscuits and gravy. When I went up to pay, the owner basically went off on me telling me that we are confusing the staff by not just saying " we want number one, or number 4, etc. He told me no substitutions or we will be charged a lot more. Our waiter that day did not understand English and I don't have a problem with that...but don't go off on me because I...a loyal customer and making your waitstaff confused. That is NOT my fault. We LOVED this place, but will not be...

I always want to see local business succeed but dang. Poor service, the cooks do not know how to cook fried eggs. My order was the three eggs, a choice of meat, and hashbrowns. I asked is chorizo an option, they said yes, ok I'll have that, what do you want for your meat, chorizo, that's not one of the options, fine I'll take sausage with over medium fried eggs. When I get my order the fried eggs are under cooked with runny whites. I asked them to redo the eggs and they come back under cooked again. Fine, I finished my meal and went to pay. Almost $15 for 3 eggs, 2 sausage patties, and hashbrowns. I won't be back and I definitely will...
