Sadly we used to like the Willow Tree Farms, all white meat chicken pie. I bought one yesterday at Shaws in NH. When I opened the package the pie was stuck to the packaging, no big deal, it looked like some of the sauce had spilled in the package when they were putting it in. Apparently they package the pie before freezing. ANyway I looked at the crust and there was the distinct impression of two fingers on the left and 3 on the right of the pie!! I assume (hope) that those were gloved hands. To make a long story short many of the pieces of chicken had a gristly membrane on it, it was disgusting. I guess their workers just throw any old piece of chicken in the mix and no one cares about quality. We couldn't eat it and threw it out. We hadn't purchased a WIllow Tree pie in several years because of a previous bad experience, they have definitely gone down hill in the quality department, we used to enjoy their product but will...
Read moreI grew up in Attleboro and have been eating Willow Tree chicken pies for over 35 years. It is disappointing to see a small town company like this sacrifice quality in order to be mass produced. I live out of state now and purchsed some WT pies from the supermarket and they are virutally empty of all filling! There was a few small pieces of chicken in the large pie and very water gravy. They used to be filled with large chunks of chicken and a very rich gravy. Very disappointing, please go back to the quality products that you used to produce. On a local visit I stopped in and the majority of the salads are in pre-packaged tubs that you purshcase at the...
Read moreWill never buy your products again. Like everyone else, more money for less. Your pie used to have huge chunks of chicken that would shred apart as you took it out. Now it looks like dog food, all gravy with little pieces of popcorn chicken mixed in. What a disappointing meal. Inflation raises costs, so if it cost more to make it and you charge more, it should be exactly the same as it used to be. I would be embarrassed selling a product like that. Never again, I will make my own so I can enjoy what chicken pot pie should be. You should put those in the...
