Kinsey's Korner — Restaurant in Atwater Township

My friend and I stopped in to Kinsey's Korner for breakfast. First, it is a beautiful, very large house situated perfectly at a four-corner intersection. This is an odd thing to mention but the parking lot is very spacious, and has a wonderful easy and flow about it. Even the sidewalks and decks are very elegant leading up to the entrances. The interior ambiance is just wonderful. It is literally like someone's large gracious home decorated to accommodate guests for meals. There were many different types of people there eating. There were several work crews and retired people and young people on their way to work that day. All of the food we ordered was outstanding. The menu is very large and there are daily specials. Prices are very reasonable and again the ambiance is just wonderful to dip off the road and grab a great meal. I would suggest stopping if you were anywhere in the area and obviously carry out is always available. A nice little hidden gem in a nice small community, the way things...

The soup was absolutely delicious.. you can tell there was a lot of love put into it. Waitress was extremely good. Enjoyed her. The chicken strip parm. I think it was with pasta. It was their special. I tried it and me knowing that I'm Italian and I don't really like nobody's spaghetti sauce but I tried it and the chicken was nice and crispy the sauce for me. It was a little bit too dark and pasty my opinion. But overall the restaurant was extremely clean and I can't wait to go back and try something else because the soups were just phenomenal. And everybody has their own opinion. So it was just one thing that I didn't like but the pasta was cooked al dente 👍🏾 might be stopping by tomorrow and give it another whirl. Just something different. As I said, everybody likes different tastes on spaghetti sauce. Me I found correctly not one restaurant that I've ever really cared for their spaghetti...

I've been eating here for years but recently their prices started going up. This is acceptable to an extent but it feels like they've taken advantage. The price hike is significant compared to similar restaurants in the area, and maybe it's bad luck or maybe it's intentional. But their menu does not reflect the change. And when asking for another menu, I was told they didn't have any. We ended up having to pay $30 for a meal we'd planned to be a cheap $20 meal. Disappointed. And for those considering ordering here, keep in mind it is a small business, so they do deserve your support and business. But let's keep them honest. $9 for a burger that's advertised as $6.95, and it doesn't have fries? Insane.

Owner replied not sure where it went but I have a copy of the menu, and even though they said there is no $9 burger, there is in fact a $9 burger. And wow was it...
