Holy cow, FANTASTIC FOOD!! As a native-born Texan living in Ohio, I've found most of the Mexican food here very bland! There's absolutely NO seasoning on the meat at most of the places around Ohio and it's just greasy and bland. (The old Salsitas- I used to have to ask them to drain the ground beef!) Well NOT THIS PLACE!! The meat was actually seasoned with garlic powder, onions, and cumin - it was wonderful!! I got the nachos and my daughter got a burrito and both were fantastic! We finished it all! The service could've been a little more attentive but it WAS a Friday night, and I think they only had 1 - 2 servers. The wooden booths were a bit uncomfortable but it's better than the cushioned ones that have gotten too soft and you sink into. The prices were very good too. I only spent $30 for 2 people and that's with cheese dip and drinks! Either way, I'll definitely be back! When Googling, I noticed there are several "Tito's" restaurants around and a couple of "Uncle Tito's" so I took a picture of the address on our ticket of the one we went to. I'm not sure if they're all the...
Read moreWe walked in and were slightly turned off as the place is way too brightly lit and poorly decorated. Also, when we visited in April, they still had Christmas decor hanging on 3 of 4 back wall light fixtures. Once seated, a partially painted wall and dirty floor was our view from the old double-sided wooden booth that rocked lots and disturbed guests sitting on either side. Additionally, there was a kinda tall trip hazard step leading to the back half of the convenient store sized diner.
Regarding food, the Margaritas were heavily soured and not my cup of tea so to speak, The taco salad shell was great as were our tortilla chips but my salad needed more ingredients besides being all meat with a splash of lettuce and tomatoes. The hard taco was similarly all meat and little else. The best i could say is that our food came out extremely fast and the service was okay.
It was our first time at the restaurant, and we live close by so we could frequent it often, but we were hoping for a much better experience, to...
Read moreHusband went to pick up lunch at the new uncle Tito’s in Atwater, Ohio. We ordered chiro Queso for an appetizer… very greasy and somewhat bland and more then 3/4ths went into the trash, even the chips weren’t appealing. My husband ordered the Enchilada Supreme and did finish all of it but only because he said he was hungry. He did say it was dry and not as good as others he’s had. And even started feeling nauseous after burping it up later. I ordered the Pork Fajitas, when we called to order it, I wanted the pork fajitas with no pork and chicken instead… this confused them so I just accepted the pork… this was so disgusting that I didn’t even eat 1/4th before feeling nauseous. A lot of the food was flavorless, however, the pork was cooked tender, some had burn pieces. With food like this, this restaurant will not stay in business long. If you want good Mexican fare go...
