OK, lets be honest about this place: You dont go there for the food (which actually isnt that bad) and you dont go there for the ambiance (which they've spent a lot of effort fixing lately) and you dont go there for the ample parking (usually you end up on the street, but that's OK, everyone else does too). You go there for the drinks and the entertainment. The prices are very reasonable and the drinks are never "watered down". Been going here for years, the service may be a little too familiar but that's what most people expect from a neighborhood bar. They have a calendar chock full of events both inside and outside and the bands they get are surprisingly better than most other venues I've been to in the area. What limited parking there is in the lot is on a hill, so if you have a bit too much bring a designated walker to help you to your vehicle. Plenty of TVs inside and out for all the games too. That being said...it would be great if your patrons who drive there would be mindful of the residents around you. Today, I had a black Ford Explorer pull into my driveway and proceed to whip around and peel out almost hitting my dog and ignoring my screams of warning as I ran towards them to try to stop them. Read moreOverall I would rate this place just a three star. Parking is hard to find unless somebody is pulling out, otherwise you are parking on the road. During an event, good luck finding remotely close parking. This bar has plenty of space in the back for whatever event is going on.
Food is very meh. Between the chicken tenders and pizza, I would recommend the chicken tenders. Pizza was a complete disappointment. Chicken tenders were actually pretty okay for bar food.
