My family and I have eaten here multiple times because it's close to our work. The weight staff is polite and responsive. The food is pretty good. It's not the absolute best Mexican food I've ever had but definitely rings towards the top.
I'm not a big fan of the atmosphere. They have TVs everywhere like a sports bar and they've got weird pictures all over the walls. In the section that we sat in this last time they have a lot of skeletons and people celebrating the day of the Dead. I get that it's a common hispanic holiday to celebrate, but it's really ugly and I didn't like sitting there with my little kids.
I also like the fact that they were very willing to make the food according to my desires. I asked for less oil and a couple of other modifications and the food came out exactly as requested.
The food is not fast but not slow. This place is pretty busy so don't expect a really quick meal.
The parking lot is usually pretty full and the parking lot is tiny with spaces that are too close together so it's kind of annoying to get in and out.
There's two main areas that would take this from a pretty good restaurant to agree restaurant, in my opinion. First, I like to see more vegetarian options. Second, improve the atmosphere . Get rid of all of the ugly pictures on the walls and make it feel less like...
Read moreThis would rank third worst Mexican restaurant I have been to. After standing at the Wait to be Seated sign for 7 minutes, I was finally seated. The Texas margaritas are premixed and obviously not stirred. It was like drinking Gran Gala straight, thick and syrup-like. A gentleman stopped by and corrected the issue with the margarita by adding more lime juice, which I was satisfied with. When the food finally came, the server set the plates down and never came back and never asked if I needed anything. Immediately I realized that I needed an extra napkin, some pico de gallo, and some Cholula or other hot sauce. I kept trying to wave to her, but she was laser focused on not looking over. Apple TV makes it simple enough to show a Braves game on TV, they couldn't be bothered with all that, and why should they? The place was busy and they were making money. The owner appears to be milking this cash cow to the last drop. The quesadilla was completely soggy despite being grilled. I typically give a place a second chance after a bad experience, but I really can't see myself ever returning here. They don't need my business and they will be just fine. I am happy for the rest of the locals that seem...
Read moreFirst I was worried about trying this place b/c they were not busy on Cinco de Mayo. We went in anyways to see. Pleasantly surprised. Service was great. Food was yummy. Atmosphere was rowdy, fun and busier then it looked. It was extremely loud but the server said that it isn't normally this loud. Idk why it needs to be so loud just b/c it's May 5rh but it was. Didn't bother me that much cause it was my daughter and I so our conversation could be elevated but if it would have been a few of us it would have been difficult to talk. The most awesome conversation I did have was with the Manager on duty.. I asked him about his actions with allergies. He said to ask for management when ordering and he will make sure cook understand the severity if cross contamination. I explained to him about a Gluten intolerant allergy. He said they are aware of allergies and if told they will do what they can to prevent cross contamination. I don't run into this often. Good to know. I told him I would be back b/c of this information. Thank you Margaritas for a...
