Augusta Bakery — Restaurant in Augusta

Hard to rate - pastries are very good, but overpriced and half the size of similar pastries at other local bakeries (Grandma’s in Cashton is the gold standard). Biggest problem was maybe the least friendly clerk ever, especially in a small town in Wisconsin, where people tend to go out of their way to make you feel at home. This girl acted like she’d rather be having her teeth pulled than wait on customers. There are a LOT of terrific small town bakeries in the area that actually seem to enjoy their business. We will shop at those in the future and hope the Augusta Bakery employees find a job at a place where they don’t have to deal with...

the pastries are delicious! not very friendly though. they aren't open very often, and when they are they are not friendly at all. it's worth it though for the donuts. I also asked how much for the chocolate covered caramels, and she said they are by weight, and left it at that.
