Edit: 1/30/20 Be warned folks, on more than a few occasions I felt they were charging whatever they wanted. I decided to add everything up according to their menu and called in, everytime I got different prices. I believe they have outdated menus online and/or charging slightly more for certain dishes. Other restaurants do this too. I only trust new chan express , when you look at the receipt you see where your money went. Many other restaurants simply list what you were charged, nothing itemized. I don't trust that. Show me what everything cost.
It's an on again off again thing with dragon express. I stayed eating from them until I got sick from spicy orange chicken to go. Then I returned recently, I've enjoyed them slowly again until my last order. I ordered a lot of stuff and $23 seemed about right, it was a slow day when I ordered. I was ready to go home and eat. I got the wrong food. Only because I was willing to try something new and didn't want to waste gas going back I ate the food. I don't know how they got my order wrong when I was loud, I was considering writing my order down the next time I go back. I was mad as all get out, I was tuned up for a particular meal and I didn't get it. I will check my order before I leave...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDragon Express has good fresh food and they change their oil frequently so fried items taste fresh. My favorite is combo 21, the sesame chicken with pork fried rice and egg roll. Add Chinese donuts and cream cheese wontons, or rangoons, whatever they're called, and you got a feast. The atmosphere is ok. It was formerly a huddle house so its just a basic diner inside but its clean and decent with a hint of Chinese flair. Seating is plentiful if you like a booth, but if you need a chair then theres only one table that's got chairs, so hopefully you can fit in a booth, as they are a tad small. But in fairness it could be argued we are a tad large. But its easy to be large in a place that has good food. Its a bit pricy, and it is not a buffet so expect to spend a bit extra if you have a party of more than 2. We could have went to the buffet but the food wouldn't have been as good, but the price would have been far less. Not a complaint, just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been going here for over 10 years. The building was formerly a Huddle House I used to frequent so it is dine in. I usually take out. The clean and the health score is what kept me coming back. They started out at 100 and have consistently remained above 95. The flavor of the food is good. I wish they sold Chinese wings here but the wings they offer come in s variety of flavor. They are whole wings which can throw some off and the plain fried wings have an interesting orange like color. Delicious though When calling in your order Pick up is usually 15-20 minutes. Delivery time is about 1 hour but they disclose this to you. I usually get the Shrimp and broccoli with white rice. So good. They have a menu online but no online ordering. It is a small business. Customer Service has room for improvement but I've not had a nasty experience in that regard. 90% of the time I've been pleased with my...
