Just because I'm rating it a three star doesn't mean I wasn't happy. The food was great and we will be back. This is not a place I recommend people to go to on hot days. No ac and it one of the hottest days of the year. I went in knowing I was going in to write a review because this place has been on my list for a while. The chairs to sit on were terrible, hard as rocks, not regular chairs. No ac and if it hadn't been the hottest day of the year I probably wouldn't have cared but sweat was pouring down my face and the food was sticky from the humidity. Parking is tight here but there's plenty of spots on an average day. They accept debit/credit and cash and the prices are reasonable. The place wasn't super clean but there was at least twenty people waiting for food and only a few staff, so can't really blame them, the bathroom was really clean though. The staff is very friendly, and strive to making the customers happy. The lady who took our order was very nice and very accommodating. Absolutely five stars for customer service. It's a pretty casual place and it seems like it would be a nice hang out spot on a non hot day. It's a place that closes early, they close at three, mostly a lunch establishment. They also have outdoor seating if you prefer. Kids would like this place, family friendly.

I got the duel hot dog with chili cheese fries and my husband got two hot dogs with grilled onions with french fries. Foods fantastic, no complaints. Even though I only rated it three stars I really do urge people to try it out. Customer service is great, food is great, I just had minor...

I have been wanting to eat here for awhile but always arrived after 3pm. I never memorized the hours or when they are open, always a 'guess' on arrival kind of thing.

Parking is a hard one, very limited parking - in the summer there is seating outside in the 'back yard' under some trees.

Today was the day! Arrived at 11am for some delicious dogs - my husband and I ordered the chili cheese fries, two dogs and a drink combo ($13). One dog had chili and cheese the other had baked beans, coleslaw with bacon... dang! That beanie dog was soooo scrumptious I had to have another! Who would have thought coleslaw and beans on a dog would be that good?! The staff are super friendly, great vibe! The place itself is like a black and red retro kind of feel to it - so the chairs are black metal and counter tops rustic. I liked it. It is January 2025 so it is winter and the place was nice and warm inside. I will have to go again when it is in the summer and see what the fuss is all about and check it out for myself.

Overall, got my hangry butt out of its funk - I will be back and...

This is a not so small, but very New England quaint, hot dog restaurant off the beaten path in Augusta. It looks like it may have been another restaurant at some time, but they have done a great job of renewing it. There are also tables outside in front of the restaurant, but the real ambiance is the 10-12 picnic tables in the lot behind the parking lot. There is a lot of greenery and maybe a stream behind it? But the real treat is the food. And there is a lot to eat in addition to hot dogs. The hot dogs are grilled on a flat top and delicious. they have several different combos, or make your own. The staff are beyond friendly and even fun. I had a customized hot dog with onion rings. The onion rings were also delicious and not the least bit greasy. I can’t wait to go back and possibly try something else on the menu if I can veer from the...

Found this place thru a listing of Where The Locals Go on Google Maps. It was a little out of our way, but so worth it. The dogs are epic and served in soft, fresh buns with fresh cut fries on the side. I ordered the #4 - 1 chili dog and 1 bean dog with fries and a drink. I was new to bean dogs, which was basically a bacon-wrapped hot dog on a bun, then topped with baked beans and slaw. The slaw is made fresh on site every morning and is basically cabbage and dressing, but oh my, the dressing was excellent and I just loved the flavor blend of the slightly sweet beans and little bit tangy slaw. It was love at first bite! The service was efficient and quick, and the owner took our order, and answered our first-timer questions so kindly. Wish we had this place back home. What a jewel!
