Our trips to shark tooth mine wouldn’t be complete without stopping into Blue Crab Boutique for ice cream and delicious coffee. The shop is beautiful — full of incredible work from so many talented local artists. The scoop sloop is a little ice cream counter with a quaint gift shop in Aurora, NC. It’s very close to the fossil Museum and you can walk there.

Nice selection of choices for a small ice cream counter. We love key lime and coconut and to our delight both flavors were available! The service was fast and friendly and the prices are very reasonable!

Stopped in while visiting the fossil museum next door. Cool little shop, local artist have some beautiful work in there. Plus they sell ICE CREAM!
