I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. As guests of the Omni Barton Creek, we had access to a back entrance, but I was surprised to see the entryway cluttered with boxes and chairs, which didn’t create the best first impression. Our waiter was wonderful—personable and friendly—and he did an excellent job of informing us about the off-menu items. Now, onto the food. We started with the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls, which were delicious but quite heavy. In retrospect, we probably shouldn’t have ordered them, as they filled us up and made it hard to enjoy the rest of our meal. For the main course, my wife chose the seabass with risotto and asparagus. Initially, we hesitated but because the waiter assured us the risotto was light, my wife decided to give it a try, but I can confidently say it was quite rich. Unfortunately, my wife couldn’t eat much of it, and for $70, it felt like a waste. On the other hand, my New York strip was fantastic—generous portions that I couldn’t finish. The glazed carrot was impressive, large, and very tasty. However, the baked potato was similar to what you’d find at Outback Steakhouse, but not quite as substantial. Overall, the experience was decent, but I probably wouldn’t return. Since we were celebrating our 32nd anniversary at the hotel, it was convenient to dine here. I’d rate it a solid 4 out of 5, but with some room for improvement.

Bob’s Steakhouse has always been my first choice when it comes to steaks. I frequently visit the Dallas Omni location and have NEVER had a bad experience like we did at the Bob’s located in the Barton Creek Resort, it was incredibly disappointing. The quality of the food was mediocre compared to what I’m used to. My steak, ordered medium-well, arrived very rare, making it impossible to finish. The mashed potatoes were overly sweet, as was the carrot, which detracted from the overall taste. I dined with a group of friends, we were a party of 11 and we all encountered similar issues. Several steaks were either undercooked or excessively salty. The two-hour wait for our food, which we initially thought would be worth it, only added to our frustration when the meal did not meet expectations. The one highlight of the evening was our waiter, Hunter, who provided excellent service. The manager approached our table and explained that several other tables had similar experiences. He assured us that he would speak with the executive chef to address the issues. While he did compensate us with one free steak and dessert, it did not make up for the overall disappointment of the evening. This experience was a significant letdown, for from what we have come to expect from Bob's Steakhouse.

Wow. The NY Strip was prepared impeccably well. Hats off to the chef. Everything in fact was pure perfection. From the warm bread, the Chophouse salad, side of broccoli & of course the Dirty Bob. Fantastic. The restaurant is located right outside the entrance of the Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa. The hotel is massive but necessarily so because I sure needed a walk after a meal I could not devour lol They also offer homemade pickles & peppers. The waitress said who makes them only makes them specifically for Bob's & that they are known for them. If you don't see any on your table be sure to ask for them to give it a try. The service was phenomenal. I'm sure you'll be very pleased here for a special occasion or a nice treat.

🌟 Exceptional Service from Juliette at Bob’s Steakhouse – A True Gem! 🌟

Dining at Bob’s Steak & Chop House at the Omni Barton Creek Resort is always a treat, but our recent visit was made truly unforgettable thanks to Juliette, our amazing server. From start to finish, she delivered the kind of service that turns a great meal into a special memory.

Juliette is the perfect combination of professional, personable, and genuinely warm. She greeted us with a bright smile and immediately made us feel welcome — like we were longtime friends rather than just guests at a table. Her knowledge of the menu was spot-on, and her recommendations (especially on the steak and dessert!) were absolutely perfect. You could tell she truly cares about making each guest’s experience special.

What really stood out was her attention to detail — never intrusive, but always one step ahead. Water glasses were never empty, pacing was perfect, and she anticipated needs before we could even ask. It’s rare to find someone with such an effortless grace in hospitality.

Juliette brought heart to the high-end experience at Bob’s, and that’s something we’ll remember. The food was excellent (as always), but she is the reason we’re already planning our next visit.

If you’re dining at Bob’s, ask for Juliette — she’s a star, and she’ll make your evening feel truly special.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you, Juliette —...
