DO NOT TRUST REVIEWS HERE. I lived down the street for over a year, and came here about a dozen times to get my Mexican food fix. The meat was always unnaturally dry, and the food very lackluster half the time. I couldn't figure it out. Why sometimes their burritos made me gag. But last time I went, it clicked.

They MICROWAVE THEIR FOOD.

How did I not notice? The burritos got had sour cream, tomato, and lettuce - all of which were boiling hot. The kind of hot that only comes from a mic.

This is borderline unethical. People come with an expectation that the food is at least cooked to order.

I still can't believe they microwaved vegetables and sour cream.

The chef is incompetent and lazy. You might get fresh cooked food, or maybe that day he just feels like screwing you out of your hard earned money for a microwave piece of...

I've tried all the nearby Mexican food places and been somewhat underwhelmed. None are outright bad, but they are impressive. I really liked this place though. To start, it's a small place and the service was prompt. The water glass is huge so I didn't need a refill. The chips were crispy, the salsa wasn't very spicy but still tasted good. I ordered the Torta Cubana -- Full disclosure, I'm not an expert on Cuban food -- It didn't seem very.. cuban. It was good nonetheless. Ham, Avocado, chicken (I should have ordered pork, that's my fault) and I think some refried beans. It was a lot bigger than I expected, tasty and very filling. The fries were a little bland, but I think they give them to you unsalted and let you do the rest on purpose.

I'll definitely be back. I want to try...

5 years ago I had left a 5 star review. This year I'm changing my review due to the lack of effort they have put in. Prices went up as expected. Today's order did it for me. I ordered pico de gallo (over the phone I asked if it had cilantro, cashier said yes) when I arrived home I saw it had no cilantro. I got a large side of refried beans which should have been renamed to refried bean soup. The beans were so watery. Lastly, the red salsa! It was red watered down sauce. No spice at all. I did not want to make a big deal, but this is so ridiculous. The food you serve is not free and we pay the price which is not even the right price listed Online by the way. Please act like you take pride in preparing our food. I am so disappointed in Krystal...

Very solid spot for some fajitas. We came here on a whim looking for Mexican online, and it was great. They actually serve both Mexican and Cuban dishes. I ordered the "Mexican" beef fajitas, and my husband got the beef and shrimp fajitas on the Cuban side. They looked very similar, but we compared the flavors, and they were slightly different, both delicious. I'm always trying to save money, so if you're like me, I would suggest the Mexican side and forego the shrimp, and it's $5 cheaper. But the shrimp also tasted very good. The chips and salsas were also very delicious.

The shredded chicken tacos are a great deal and taste great. Did you know that chicken cooked under water (boiled, steamed, etc) is healthier than chicken cooked dry (baked, grilled, etc) because there are fewer AGEs (advanced glycation endproducts) produced? The horchata and the melon drink are good if you're looking for something sweet, and I like the chile relleno. The chilaquiles was not great. Main flavor was the refried beans. The chilaquiles were clearly not made in house, and the steak was very dry. I would expect more for an $18 meal.

Husband and I went here today afer working the health pfair and it was a lovely little venture from our norm. I ordered the carne asada and my husband ordered the nachos espeiales with beef fajita. The nopales were a lovely touch, and the cheese for the nachos was like queso. The salsa was great and they served it in condiment dispensers.
