We love PTerrys, and we were so excited to see this location open up. That being said, we just completed our first, and likely only visit to this location. When we ordered the person taking our order asked us how we would be paying. We replied “credit card,” and then they asked us if we had cash. We said yes, and the person replied “oh, good.” It was completely ambiguous as to what they meant by this question, as they then proceeded to ask us what we would like to order. That should have tipped us off that there was something going on inside causing issues. After that we proceeded to wait in line for more than 20 minutes with barely any movement. Two people in line behind us left because of the wait. After five more minutes we too decided to leave, as fast food fails to be “fast” if one has to wait as long as we did. When we left there were at least 5 cars in front of us still, with the line showing no sign of movement. It’s obvious there must have been something going on inside to warrant this wait, but it would have been nice if the person taking our order had made us aware of the extended wait time or the issue they were experiencing.
That said, we will likely not be returning to this location again. Instead I would highly recommend the PTerrys on Congress and 290. We went there next and were in and out in...

I’ve traveled from D.C. to Texas, tasted burgers in over a dozen cities, and walked away from almost all of them thinking the same thing: they’re trying too hard. Too much sauce, too many gimmicks, not enough soul.
But then I met Sergio T.
This place doesn’t try to impress. It doesn’t perform. It executes. The burger? Simple. Messy. Clean. Bold. No fluff. No nonsense. Just well-sourced ingredients, cooked right, seasoned with restraint and power. It reminded me what a real burger is supposed to taste like— comfort layered over craft.
But the food was only half of it.
Sergio T. was genuine hospitality in human form. He didn’t treat me like a customer— he treated me like someone who mattered. Accommodating. Friendly. Unforced. The kind of presence that makes a place unforgettable.
I didn’t just eat here. I experienced it.
If there’s a loyalty program, I want in. If there’s a lifetime pass, I’d wear it like a badge.
You don’t just earn regulars with food like this. You build legends. And Sergio? He’s the one...
Read moreI ordered a double cheese burger and fries. I also ordered a large lemonade. The food was actually really good. My only complaint was about my drink. They gave me a lemonade that was in a small cup. I told her I had ordered and paid for a large and she said that it was a large. I pointed behind her at the large cups and said that I wanted that size. She responded with we don't offer lemonade in that size. I asked if I could just pay to upgrade it and she said no but I could order 2 large lemonades and she would pour them both into the large cup... so they want me to pay over 5$ for it. That's petty. Just offer an actual large lemonade for an extra $1.50 or something. Also, the young girl working the window was on the rude side. I waited longer than expected for my food, 4 to 5 cars that ordered after me got their food before me, not sure how that works when they only really sell hamburgers. At the end of the day the food was A- and the fries were an A I would definitely...
