We ordered the meatloaf special for our granddaughter she has a good appetite because she is going through a growth spurt, we had been watching the plates come out with the meatloaf meals and they were large pieces of meatloaf so we thought it would be a good deal. However when they brought our granddaughters plate out it was only half the size of all the others they had been bringing out. The waitress saw us trying to get her attention a couple of different times and completely ignored us. When she finally did come over we mentioned to her the size of the meatloaf and she stated that they had a new cook and that he had been giving too big of portions and was told to start making them smaller which just so happened to coincide with my granddaughter's plate being served. I didn't let it rest and she finally ended up bringing out another half a piece for my granddaughter. I had to ask for a refill of my coffee after trying to flag her down I sat there with an empty cup for about 20 minutes while she was checking on all the other tables around us multiple times but not us. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. If I ate there again I would definitely try to get another server. But the food wasn't good enough to go out of our way however if we were passing through it's good enough that...
Read moreServers are RUDE, bullies, and disrespectful to the elderly. My elderly father asked and begged for more water 6times and we were ignored and refused service (they only had 4 tables so its was not busy). They dont even know how to make their own food on their menus. I am not going to name the ladies names (they made a stupid decision and mistake that day, don't want them fired but educated on proper customer service and ethics). I do hope you are proud of yourself for "sticking it to us". You had a issue with me because I called you out when you threw a menu at my face. I asked multiple times if I could talk to a manager they ignored me. Asked what the owners names were andthey refused to give any names. Did not eat the food because we saw the kitchen staff and all the other staff surrounding the plate and all messing with it in the back right by the kitchen door before they brought it out. They told me to eat it and get out, no more water or coffee was to be served to us. My question to the owners is this how you serve your customers and elderly? If we were being refused service then why did we pay for the food we never ate because they messed with the food and was ignoring us at every turn. I would love to have a chat with the owners about how their staff treated my...
Read moreThe half acre Cafe is a wonderful place to eat breakfast in the morning. There are good dishes for all and all of the people who eat there in the morning definitely are very happy with their meals. I am a newcomer to that restaurant and in the morning many people choose this restaurant for their breakfast before work. The typical types of of foods served for breakfast are featured in this restaurant. I've looked around and every buddy there seems to enjoy the food and they also enjoy the talk between the people who meet there. I would say it's a very very good place to start your breakfast in...
