Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant is a great option if you're looking for delicious Chinese food in a family-owned setting. The egg drop soup is particularly delicious, and the vegetable lo mein, chicken wings, and crab rangoon are all fantastic choices as well. Each dish is cooked with care and attention to detail, resulting in a satisfying and authentic flavor.
The atmosphere inside the restaurant is adequate, although not particularly remarkable. While there is no outdoor seating, the interior provides a cozy and inviting space to enjoy your meal. Additionally, the family-owned nature of the restaurant adds a personal touch that you may not find at other, larger establishments.
All in all, I would definitely recommend Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant to anyone looking for good Chinese food in the area. Although the atmosphere may not be the highlight of the experience, the delicious food and friendly service make up for it. I would certainly visit again and enjoy another meal from this...
Read moreMy husband called and ordered dinner for just the two of us with a side of crab Rangoons. Apparently (as the owner said) the menu online is not up to date and is years old. The prices have nearly DOUBLED since than. So we were ordering based off of old prices. The menu also didnt have combo meals and where it has the different meat orders it says includes fried rice , so I assumed (my mistake) that since it INCLUDED fried rice it was a dinner combo of sorts. And that I would not be charged EXTRA for it. Well, we got charged $60. For two people to have dinner and an appetiser from a mediocre chinese restaurant. The chinese restaurants in Arcadia would have been no more than $30 for the stuff I ordered. But because this place charged us for everything seperate and not as a dinner combo we paid much more. That was $60 that I did not have to spend especially unexpectedly. This was my first and...
Read moreI had a pleasant experience with the person that I spoke to to order my food, I ordered the General Tso chicken was okay not spicy enough for my liking., egg rolls were actually spring rolls, Empress chicken was dry and not as crisp as I have had it before it was served with white rice which was fluffy and not mushy, vegetable lo mein which I had hoped for for more veggies wasn't enough sauce and more greasy.. I can definitely tell that there is no love in this food and it's sad to taste. I can definitely tell the Love of Cooking has dissipated I hope that they get their spark back because Asian American Cuisine is so unique and amazing and definitely should...
