My family placed an order for ice cream however needed to cancel. Once I called a sweet lady said that a refund was just fine so she confirmed that she would and hung up. a few minutes later I received a phone call from a man who was not very nice to say the least. Ripped me a new one about how it was not ok that we had to cancel, they took the time to prep it and so I needed to come and get it. We ended up canceling our plans that day to come and pick up ice cream and get yelled at. Mind u it was only for a gallon of ice cream. The entire thing was petty but very sad to have a store and call your customers to yell at them over the phone. I would have even been fine with only getting...

I’ve had family in Avon Park for over 30 years and every visit must include a trip to Maxwells for orange ice cream and juice. There are a few other places that sell orange ice cream, but none compare to this. I’ve been told that it is under new management now, but everything is just as good as ever. There’s a great selection of gift items and let’s not forget the main reason for the business...the fruit! Needless to say, it’s delicious, and they will ship anywhere. Something new I noticed on my recent visit is a special room set up for a daily wine tasting. I didn’t get to participate in that, but there’s always next time! You can’t possibly be disappointed with a trip...

I love this cute little country store and the family that owns it. I’ve been going there for over five years now. The first things I fell in love with were the front porch/swing and their Homemade Orange swirl ice cream 😋 Then their fruit wines and mixes 🍷. This past year or so I’ve participated in some parties under their huge barn (they even offer services to help with your party 🎉) and at the back of the store, omg! it’s huge back there to set up some tents for parties or cookouts and even a small platform for a band!! Ya gotta go visit and check it out! At least to get some of that delicious ice cream 🍦and chill on the porch. Love it love...
