The Mountain House — Restaurant in Ayr Township

Went for the weekend special steak. When ordered the bartenderasked one of the gentleman sitting at the bar drinking about cooking and he argued with her that he wasn't on duty he wasn't there pretend he's not there so she went back into the kitchen to find out if the cook back there was still serving dinner even though it was way before the nine ending time and after a few words in the kitchen she came back out to inform us that yes the cook will make something for us to eat however he's not cooking any steaks. So then we ordered a pulled pork sandwich only to find out they were out of Home pork settled for hamburgers everything would have been okay even though we didn't get the steaks we had been there for however the gentleman that was sitting at the bar at the bartender kept talking to was so loud crude disrespectful to women and ignorant that it was hard to enjoy even are hamburgers he went behind the bar he was drunk and as anyone knows according to Elsie be they're not you never drink behind a bar when you're drinking as we listen to him be very loudly belligerent I got the feeling and this is really really a shame that that was the owner of the place and if it was indeed the owner he should be very ashamed of himself as a way he spoke about women was appalling to any woman so the only reason this place gets three stars is because that poor bartender was so nice and so gracious and I feel so bad that she had to put up with an...

Ate at this restaurant a few weeks ago. I was charged significantly more for my meal than what was advertised as the price on the menu. The waitress says that they are supposed to get new menus with updated prices but they just haven't yet. I'm pretty sure charging more than the advertised price is illegal, but I was in a hurry so I didn't have time to argue. I will be reporting them to the relevant authorities, because I don't think they should get away with scamming people like this. To the bartender- Thank you for pointing the right direction yesterday. I made it to NJ (around 6 am after some sleep at rest station) The location is awesome and the whole area and drive through forest is awesome. I hope the whole area gets more attention. I hope you guys open a lodging or resort themed stuff there. I enjoyed being at top, even if I was lost.
