Lehmam Mercantile is the only place that does the old Cook's building justice. A beautiful mercantile shop, delicious baked goods and coffee, and a very warm and inviting atmosphere. Clearly put a lot of passion into the building, but still kept a lot of character from old Cook's, which is a nice sentiment to such a historical place in Lehman. Was hoping for a caffeine hit to finish our afternoon. We arrived at 2:55pm (5 minutes before their advertised closing time of 3pm) and pulled into the parking spot outside the door. Before we had a chance to exit the truck, the person working the store walked to the door, made eye contact, clicked the door lock, then walked away.
