Punks is a great little ice cream shop! They have soft serve and regular ice cream. Plus, they have milk shakes too. I really enjoy the decor and style they have going on; it is definitely a unique theme for the area. The staff are very friendly, informative, because the gentleman offered us samples of the special to try before deciding, and they own up to mistakes. My girl ordered a mix between the special soft serve and the regular chocolate to make chocolate peanut butter, but instead she got banana peanut butter. I explained what she had asked for and without questioning it he knew that he had me a mistake and said he would give us a cup for the mistake cone and she would get a replacement at no extra cost. I was hot and needed an ice cream. The location was perfect. It is lovely building and a clean place to sit. Kind of expensive. I think I paid 3.38 for a medium. But then I was so excited. I had another cone. It was good too. As I was leaving, I got that common after ice cream, "I'd like a sip of water," feeling. They refused to give me a cup of water/wanted to charge me 1.38 for a bottle of water. That is terrible. A small cup of water or a water fountain to drink from would have made this place awesome... instead trying to jack me for a bottled water ruined my experience. Overall, Punks is a very cute small business along the river that has a great theme with good people serving even better ice cream. They are cash only and that's something to be aware of.

Pros: cute tip jar and decor/theme, cute wooden train for patrons to play and sit on, nice view of the river and trains, lots of comfortable park benches, good variety of flavors, and all flavors are delicious, cute parking lot colors, nice staff, very smooth and creamy ice cream, crunchy and flavorful pecans
