My family and I were visiting the area and had heard good things so we checked this place out. The set-up is very cool and unique inside, prices for the antiques and such were great. When we ordered our food and drinks is where there was a disconnect. All in our small group felt like we were an inconvenience, that our drinks would take a while and that the food we bought wasn't even offered to be heated. I had the broccoli cheese quiche and a homemade cinnamon roll while my husband had the pimento cheese puff pastry with a turnover and of course all kinds of coffee drinks to your hearts desire. My coffee preferences are fairly plain.. drip or americano, preferably a medium or light roast that doesn’t need anything added. That’s exactly what I got. A freshly brewed medium-light roast Peruvian drip, that was outstanding. Really… second to none and much better the stuff from that coffee place that stole their name from a Herman Melville character.
