DaRoos Pizza Bagley — Restaurant in Bagley

10/3/2018 6:30pm First time at DaRoos. I was excited to eat there, but we never had chance. The waitress came by and took our drink order, but that was all we saw of her. After a long wait another waitress came by and asked if we had ordered yet. We had not. We gave her our order of garlic breadsticks and subs. That is the last we saw of anyone for over 45 minutes. No refill of drinks no appitizers, nothing. We went up to the desk and asked about our order. The waitress had no idea that we were still waiting and explained that they were at their busy time and that there were only two waitresses on at that time. There were two waitresses on, but the restaurant had maybe eight tables being used and four already had their meals. The waitress went back to the kitchen and I could see her talking to the cooks. That is the last we saw that waitress. She never came out to explain why the delay or when we could expect our order. She didn't even come out to refill drinks after speaking to her about our order. Good pizza no lie, but the young woman at the front counter was horrible at customer service! Walked in to get a order to go, she looked at me waiting for me to say something than I told her my name and order to go without response walks away grabs the pizzas, tells me the total I hand her my card she runs it hand me the receipt to sign and walks away before I can even hand it back to her. She honestly could of cared less about me or my order... I left the signed receipt on the counter and walked out. Now I understand under certain circumstances when busy things can get crazy but there was 2 tables full in the entire place. I don't need to be waited on hand and foot dang if their busy I'd help them out but this was simply all attitude. On a positive side the pizza was good as expected but the service even as limited as I required was pathetic. Dear owners/managers please have a serious sit down with your team about addressing patrons. The food was OUTSTANDING, but the service was absolutely dreadful. We went it at 5:15 sat and waited 15 minutes for anyone to notice we were there, another 10 to get drinks and order then another 30 minutes for the appetizer. Then another 30 for the pizza. We watched takeout orders flow out of the kitchen while our order went ignored. We weren't checked on for drink refills and were told many times " your food will be out soon" in passing but we couldn't get them to stop for a drink refill.

When we did get the pizza is was fantastic, A beautiful thin crust that held up with a crunch and a nice chee, a sauce with just a touch of heat and good toppings cooked well. They made a great quest for the appetizer of nacho chips but the chips were just store bought, tasted like regular tostitos.
