My wife & I are regular retired working class people. We try to support local businesses before we go to a commercial name brand business. We entered this business & the cashier was taking care of a customer so we waited to see if we needed to be escorted to a table since there wasn’t any sign stating one way or another. After a few minutes & customers cashing out, my wife asked if we can find a seat ourselves. The cashier stated yes. After we placed our order with the waitress, it took almost 20-30 minutes to get our food. She apologized for the delay but the restaurant only had about 8 tables occupied with three waitresses working. After she dropped off our plates of food, we didn’t see the waitress again until she dropped off the bill at the table. She did offer drinks to go. Now for the food. I ordered a club sandwich and a large order of French fries & my wife ordered a patty melt. My club sandwich came on white bread with a slice of Kraft American cheese, a slice of ham (looked like from a package of Oscar Myer lunch meet) lettuce and tomato. The French fries came on the same plate as the sandwich. They looked like a side order with the sandwich that you would receive in a regular restaurant. My experience is when you order a large order of French fries, as a side dish, they usually come on a separate plate that two people can share. Now a patty melt should be on rye bread not white sandwich bread as received by my wife. My wife & I walked away with the feeling that unless you are a local, your not welcomed here. FYI, my wife & I have been full-time RVing & have visited/stayed in 42 states in the last six years, so we know where we feel welcomed &...
Read moreThe people at Kim's catfish make you feel like you are their family and Linda is my favorite waitress and she always takes my order and makes sure that it's perfect and also miss Linda that stands at the register, I think all of the staff are wonderful, but, these two ladies welcome me in every time I come and I love that, and their food is outrageously wonderful, and, everything that I always order is always there and cooked perfectly and generously portioned and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in Alabama who might happen upon this Hidden Gem of a restaurant because I drive there from Guntersville Dam to Baileyton Alabama just to go for the food and like I said the waitresses and the whole staff are wonderful and the cooks they have pay attention to detail and they are very very good at what they do and I love this restaurant 100% And, I recommend it highly to anybody that wants to go there and check it out! Read moreMy sister & I recently dined at your restaurant, and I wanted to share some feedback about my experience. First, I want to commend your team on the quality of the food—it was absolutely delicious, and I was very impressed with the flavors and presentation.
However, I was disappointed with the service I received from our waitress. She seemed unfriendly and inattentive, which affected the overall experience. Specifically:
She never returned to our table to refill our drinks.
She brought us the check at the same time as our food, making it feel as though we were being rushed.
It seemed as though she was done with us before we had even started eating.
I understand that everyone has off days, but the level of service didn’t reflect the otherwise high quality of your establishment. I’m sharing this feedback not to complain, but in hopes it helps improve future guest...
