Read moreWent for breakfast three times this summer. First time the food and service was great. Second time food was really bad. My wife ordered hot tea, hard fried eggs, sausage, home fries and toast. Eggs were runny, home fries were cold (had not seen the grill in a long time) and the waitress realized the cook had shorted her on sausage. So, the waitress left the toast, sausage and hot tea and had the cook redo the rest. When she came back with the rest of the order and attempted to refill my wife's hot tea she missed the cup and poured hot water in my wife's lap. Third time I ordered biscuits and gravy. The gravy was cold. The explanation I received both times was the cook is new. Neither time the restaurant was busy. Been going there on and off for forty years. Food and service used to be really great and the place was always busy. Gave it 2 stars for food because of 1st time, 3 stars for service because the waitress is really nice and 3 stars because it's a truck stop. Started going to...
Read moreNot a bad place find it a little ridiculous you have to link your credit card to their card to be able to receive gas at a reasonable price no way in hell I'm going to do that it's a perfect way for somebody to have access to all the money in my checking account! The other aspect the store itself is usually crowded as it is a trucker stop as well as a regular gas tiller and usually has a decent amount of people also eating at the little diner attached to it. So if you have a problem with crowds or loud noises I would suggest stopping only for gas if you need it. There bathrooms are cleaned hourly and are some of the cleanest I have seen in a long time for a gas station and they have a decent selection of food that we normally find out of the shop and go. Customer service is beyond anything wonderful people who are willing to help...
