We stopped in here on our way back to Early from Baird. We had never heard of the restaurant, so we thought we would try it because the menu looked appealing. They are in the middle of construction, which really wasnāt going full force or at least it didnāt hear the rumbles of loud noises. They had a large plastic wall up connecting to the area being remodeled. The restaurant did smell to me like someone had been smoking in the restaurant. I have a very keen sense of smell and I can smell things that the majority of people do not. I figured it could be some product they were using over in the renovation area although Iāve been around a lot of construction and the only time I have ever smelled smoke is if a contractor is off on the side smoking. Now with the food, the wagyu ribeye that I shared with my husband. It was perfectly cooked just a slight bit over medium. I donāt like to see any bone marrow on the plate and medium well makes it loose too much of the moisture. I ordered the zucchini as an appetizer and asked for a thicker batter. Oh My Gosh it was so delicious. It reminded me so much of the zucchini that I used to get all the time when I was a waitress at Gardskiās Loft (which is permanently closed š) in Lubbock. Gardskiās had very thick batter and the slices were longer and thicker as well, however the overall taste was still spot onto Gardskiās. They also served a house made honey mustard that was just a slight bit more on the honey side, a little less thick than most places, but it was so incredible with it. Definitely something people would go back over and over again and something they were known for in the community as it was the number one appetizer that I served. The waitress was very attentive and intuitive to our needs and very pleasant to meet and have serve us, something that is lost in most wait staff today. The bathroom was clean and the restaurant was clean. We also liked the atmosphere and vibe. We stopped just before dinner time, so we missed out on their Karaoke night, which we would have enjoyed watching if we had stopped later. Overall itās definitely a restaurant that we will look forward to returning for a meal if we are back up...

Ordered fried zucchini and fried mushrooms. These were actually pretty good.
I got the wagu chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, house salad, and French green beans. Told them I wanted my gravy on the side. My girlfriend got the wagu burger and fries. Finally got our meals an hour and 45 minutes later, my wagu chicken fried steak was smothered in gravy, house salad was wilted with a tomato that had a cut and brown spot, mashed potatoes tasted like garlic and alot salt. My girlfriends wagu burger was burnt and tough and fries were almost to salty to even eat.
Wait staff was sweet and tried to fix the problem but I won't ever be going back. 66 dollars for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur waitress was so incredibly rude, and that's putting it lightly. She gave attitude when someone at our table asked for an extra paper boats for chicken wing bones. Drinks sat empty for 20 minutes, no refills offered since she never came back to the table. Food was good though. At the end of the meal we waited for the check but our waitress was leaned up against the bar talking to other waitresses or friends. When confronted about this, the waitress made the conversation public by raising her voice enough for neighboring tables to hear, claiming they were a family business but she had no issue causing this scene in front of 3 very young children. Very unprofessional and made everyone uncomfortable. We...
