61 ON THE GEAUX CAFE — Restaurant in Baker

I’ve been passing this place for quite sometime always wanting to stop but not having time. Decided to stop in one day after work and it was lunchtime. I got red beans, greens, fried chicken and fried fish. I also tried the homemade lemonade that’s in the case. The food was about $23, the red beans were not good had no taste, the greens taste like they had been cooked in straight water, the chicken was raw in the middle and the fish was so dry and cold. The lady behind the register was so caught up in the guy not giving me extra sausage on the plate but almost forgot my fish. I was going to do a Tik tok but I’ll let this review be well enough. The lemonade was sooooo thick like jello and overly sweet. ...
