The girl wanted menudo, and having seen this place on Facebook and IG claiming they were good, we stopped off to get some menudo and horchata. First, I had to wait over 15 minutes to get the order, and I was the only person there. Then, the horchata (costing $6) literally was the worst horchata we've ever tasted. It tasted weak like rice water, with no creaminess and barely a hint of cinnamon. As for the menudo ($13), charging extra for a Pata is something we've never experienced in town. She said it tasted like the tripe wasn't cleaned and lacked flavor even after all of the side ingredients were added. Read moreI finally stopped by this place after driving past it for months, and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the tri-tip plate and added two beef ribs on the side. From the very first bite, I was taken back to Saturday afternoons with my family at my grandpa’s house, grilling and enjoying life. The flavors reminded me of those cherished moments my siblings, cousins, tias, and tios all got together, laughing, playing loteria and just enjoyed life. This food was a connection to a time when life felt simple and full of love. If you’re looking for a place that serves up more than just amazing food, but also a sense of comfort and nostalgia, this is it. I’ll definitely be back, and I 10/10 recommend...

I like that the put slices in the chicken and the tri-tip and pork ribs are so good. I am a bit of a wimp for spicy so while the hor links and beans had good flavor, they were a bit spicy for me.
