I could spend the entire day hwre sipping frozen margaritas and loving life! I enjoyed it so much the first time, I went back again the same weekend. So The first trip we got the egg roll pickle things that were delicious, we went on a Friday and had 3 flavored blended margaritas (total ) they were so so good and one of the main reasons I wanted to go back again! So with the app, drinks and we shared the taco special our, Tab was $47. Not bad at all! Margs were $2 off, Keeley was our waitress both times and was very sweet, although a little forgetful, but she was also VERY busy, and looked to be the only waitress on a patio packed with tables, so understandable. Since I enjoyed Friday so much I decided to take my mom and daughter there on Sunday. Keeley was awesome again, but for some reason the bartender wouldn't give us blended margaritas, even tho the machine was loaded with ice in the bar, we got flavoured again like last time, and I asked for the green cups since I had forgotten my take home one Friday, but they were brought in the small plastic cups this time, not the green ones and they were awful, so AWFUL š« they syrup was SO thick so they were wayyyyyyy to sweet, she didn't even shake them, you can't just dump a boat load of super Thick drink syrup (that's meant to be blended ) into an iced drink and not even shake it š¤¦š»āāļø I had also asked for light syrup, which was definitely not the case....I couldn't drink mine, so I decided to order a plain one instead. It was only ok. We got the steak bites this time which were phenomenal, and we shared the walleye basket which was also very good! Super good tarted and coleslaw. This is where I got a little peeved, so we again had 3 drinks an app and a shared meal again, but this time the total was $67 !? What.š³ Keeley had told me she was taking off $2 a drink since they weren't very good, and I asked twice for an itemized receipt, but never got one, she forgot or was busy, and we were running late to an appointment so we had to leave. So just a word of advice, Expecting people to pay electronically without giving them a printed off tab first, is weird. When I ask for my check I want to physically see it, printed off, and then pay for it. I don't mind paying at the table! BUT print it off. I feel we were over charged for sure. Even tho I know my app and meal were higher priced, $20 more then my last trip isn't right. Also I feel like if you have a big blending machine, specifically for blended drinks, and fancy cups for them, on display in the bar, they should be offered all the time. Not just sometimes. š¤·š»āāļø I definitely still absolutely recommend this place !!! Just don't order a flavored non blended margarita lol, and check your tab.
The view, food, and sweet Keeley make it worth...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis business should be investigated by the health department ASAP. My family had an alarming, unsanitary experience here recently, and I SHOULD have reported to the health department, and perhaps I still will. But overall, our entire experience here was horrible.
My biggest complaint is the two huge dogs walking aimlessly around the patio and inside the building. I know quite a few individuals with significant allergies to dogs, including one child in particular who will go into anaphylactic shock when exposed to a dog. Dogs should not be in public settings, and DEFINITELY not allowed to roam freely. They pose a significant risk to human health, and it takes only ONE incident to end a human life because the animal, for whatever reason, couldn't stay at home.
But dogs are inherently SEVERELY unsanitary. They are covered in fecal matter 100% of the time. Look up dogs and their anal glands. They secrete anal juice that coats their fur as an identifier to other dogs. Meaning there is anal juice AND feces on their fur at any given time. That should be NOWHERE near human food, and certainly not food belonging to strangers. If you want to eat your own dog's feces at home, go for it. That is NOT acceptable to force upon others.
This place has a huge NO DOGS sign on their doors that they ignore, suggesting to me that they WERE cited for health code violations, put up signs to "appease the health department," and then continue to break the law and endanger human lives.
On that note, maybe I will drop the health department a note about this incident.
Nothing else about this place was acceptable either. The silverware was all dirty. Certain members of our party had to eat with their hands because NOTHING was clean, and so they ended up hardly eating. Which wasn't terrible, because the food is mediocre at best, and one in our party took their leftovers home that they couldn't eat without silverware, and the food was so bland that they simply fed it to their dog. They didn't even want to eat it.
The server also messed up our orders MULTIPLE TIMES.
That was our first and last time visiting this place. Do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe worst restaurant/bar experience I've ever had. This place made a bride cry on her wedding day! We called a week in advance to advise our of our family group of about 10-12 coming in. We also called 60 minutes in advance and were told there is plenty of seating. What wasn't mentioned was yes there is technically seating for 10 but its split up between 3-4 tables. When we arrived the waitress asked what the special occasion was and we advised we had JUST gotten married a couple hours earlier. Placed our orders right away. After an hour with NO UPDATES we finally asked for an estimate on food and was advised it would be another 30 minutes. My own grandma and a few family members who still had a longer drive had canceled their orders right there. I must have made a face because the waitress asked me "what are you thinking" and I told her we have been waiting a while. Her response was "Well its Saturday". No apology or offering to look into it or anything. It did not take another 30 minutes but in fact took another 60! and when the food finally did come out everyone EXCEPT THE BRIDE HERSELF had food. At this point I am annoyed. I told the waitress sternly but nicely "I do not want to wait for my order. At this time I want my family fed and the tab so we can close out." Again not a single apology or attempt at customer service from the waitress or any management. During this 2 hour period I saw the bartender take 4 shots minimum. All of this and there was no discount or any resolution on the final bill. If you have a BRIDE AND GROOM who has been waiting for over 2 hours and had family leave without food, maybe don't be taking a shot every 30 minutes minimum. I, THE BRIDE CRIED ON MY WAY HOME because of just how bad that experience was on our...
