Lucky’s Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Baldwin

small brunette bartender is a horrible bartender, in two hours got one drink & shot. understandably it was busy, but the service was the worst i’ve had in a long time. she also added cole slaw and fries to my fish sandwich which charged more than what was advertised, & was angry because i told her about herself. told my friend that she didn’t serve or speak to her because “i stood here for 5 minutes”. like you’re supposed to be friendly, outgoing & speak first. tell ur customers what ur specials are. not blatantly ignore them, bartender didn’t know it was my friends first time there & completely ruined the place for not just her, but us. the food is pretty good, wings weren’t hot out the grease but still warm… fish sandwich was fresh & delicious. cole slaw was literally warm & rancid like they make a big bowl & individually serve it, but leave it on the counter all night. fries, although hot, we’re hard as a rock, not cooked completely through. they tasted like freezer burn. also didn’t have karaoke posted on Wednesday for Friday, just must have put it up on Thursday. even if the person singing has the worst, most loudest voice you have ever heard they will not turn down the volume. If you get headaches easily, this place is not for you, especially on karaoke night. only way i would return is if that bartender wasn’t there. she ruined the entire experience. really sucks cus wings are good. don’t understand how someone like her keeps a job with the public, and i can only imagine her as a patron, what problems she causes. my hope is the owner sees this & reaches out, i would be very upset to read my review as the owner & not handle my tender, lose multiple customers, & have bad reviews on google & yelp for a $6 an hour miserable bartender when there are plenty absolutely wonderful people in the area who would take the job.

Food was okay, typical bar food. Got wings and Pretzel Sticks, they were good. Waitress was very good. However the cook, complained when I put 10 bucks in the poker machine and he said it was being used, though no one had used it in over 45 minutes. He said there were still a few credits on it and because they "Pay Out" he would just give my money back. So he opened up the machine and gave me 10 bucks back. Then him and another guy played the machine about a half hour later. Will not go back as he had an attitude the whole night...

Don't waste your time here. I got unceremoniously booted from the bar the moment I sat down because they refuse to serve anyone with an out of state license.
