My family decided to make our Christmas dinner as carefree as possible. We decided on pizza and I told them that I knew the perfect place. They were very close and they have good pizza. I called Hometown Pizza on The 27th of December to ensure there would be no issues picking them up on the 29th of December. After placing my order I asked the manager if I needed to call back on the 29th. She assured me that there was no need and they would be ready for pick up at the proper time. I showed up and no one was aware of my order. The manager on duty was working in the back and wouldn’t even come to the front to discuss my issue until the person running the register told her I specifically asked to speak to her. She told me she had heard nothing about my order. She further informed me that they could prepare my order if I gave them adequate prep time. She made it very clear that she could care less whether we ordered from them or not. Several members of my family were from out of town and had a tight schedule. I called Pizza Factory explained my dilemma and they rushed to get our pizzas prepared and saved...
Read moreWent today during the Covid pandemic. Of course I called my order in ahead of time because the lobby is closed. I order a medium thin crust "The Works". I wanted about 15 mins to arrive because they told me it would be about 20nins. When I pulled up there is a sign urging pick up customers to text a number and to include order # and make and model of vehicle. I text and waited about 10 mins just to recieve a txt back asking for a name. Then about 10 more mins to have a lady bring out the pizza. The pizza had several toppings on it like it should but very under cooked. The dough had no crisp, very soft, the toppings looked like they were put on after being heated. Was not as good as I thought. Heard alot of good things about thos place having the best pizza but I Will not go back. To pay $20 for a under cooked medium pizza that was about raw I...
Read moreLove this place. It's been in business since 1984. Family owned and operated. They make their own sauces, cheeses, dough all from scratch using fresh ingredients and secret recipes. They do serve alcohol. I'm telling you, this place is the truth! They stay busy. The owner takes good care of his staff, even looking out for them financially during the recent hand over the business to the son, Jeff. He's an amazing chef and was professionally trained to be a chef at a culinary arts school in California. I've been eating there for over 25 years. If I ever had an issue with an order, it was fixed promptly and fresh. It's the number pizza place around here IMO. They also have lasagna, smoke stacks which is their own take on calzones, spaghetti, salad bar, etc. The place is easy to get and worth the drive if you don't live in Baldwyn. ...
