We choose this restaurant for breakfast while passing through the area. When we pulled in I thought the whole devolvpment it was in was pretty interesting and unique!
Upon entering were were greeted and given a table right away. We enjoyed the option of eating outside on a nice morning! After sitting for awhile someone came by and dropped of a water carafe and glasses. The person just set it down and left. Didn't make eye contact or even talk to us. It felt cold and distant. He even just placed the glasses upside down on the table which kinda grossed me out. I didn't know how clean that table was and if I wanted to drink from a cup that was touching it. When picking up the glasses they were pretty worn with lots of scratches. One still had moisture in it further making me question the cleanliness.
Then we just sat for quite awhile. Many people were around but no one came to talk to us and at least even take a drink order. I wondered if we had been forgotten. Finally a gal came by she took our drinks and food orders. It took a long time to get our coffees after that. Then just after we got our coffee the food came. It would have been nice to have our coffees well ahead of that not with our food.
The food itself was good overall. Not bad nor anything to right home about. Just a decent meal. The presentation was done well so that helped the experience.
Using the restrooms I found them to be nice a clean! There was even a fun message on the wall!
Overall though the service soured the experience. If I was local I wouldn't go back based on that. It could be a great place based on the location, atmosphere and food. However they really need to step up on the hospitality and customer service. An important saying in the restaurant industry applies here: Good service can make up for bad food, but good food can't make up for bad service. When paying for the dining experience good service...

The food is generally good, Eleni's Omelet is big enough to take half home for the tomorrow's breakfast, but customer service can be severely deficient.
Six or eight months ago we found a cockroach on our table, which I trapped under a glass to show the manager (Gus). We were told that Gus was in a meeting and I told the waiter to tell him it's about a cockroach.
After another 5 minutes we went looking for Gus and found him at a table in the back of the restaurant, seemingly unconcerned about our discovery (we're frequent diners and know Gus). \
By the time Gus came over to our table, a busboy had cleaned it off, removing the trapped cockroach.
Gus didn't apologize and he didn't offer to "buy us" breakfast. He just said that he would have to call his exterminator.
After that, we took a hiatus from Eggsperience.
We went back today with some out of town guests (they'd already had the apple pancake at Walker Bros) and set about to enjoy breakfast before ferrying them back to the airport.
A young lady who was not our waitress brought the food, not unusual in any restaurant. We immediately informed her that our friend's omelet was supposed to have spinach in it, but it was clearly missing.
I informed her that I was missing the fruit cup that was supposed to come with mine.
The waitress said, "Oh," and sped off. We assumed was going to correct the oversights or send back our waiter. She did neither.
After waiting 10 minutes (no one came back to our table, although the restaurant was near empty), so we decided to just eat it and beat it.
When presented with the bill, the waiter did not mention the issues we raised with the waitress. To me, this is unacceptable customer service and we are probably going to have to replace Eggsperience as our go to...
Read moreThis one star is earned, not based on the quality of the food, but as the result of unethical behavior on their part that crosses from unethical into bait-and-switch territory. They implemented a loyalty program a year or two ago...every 100 bucks you get 10 off next time. Two or three times I've taken advantage of this having spent hundreds there over the years.I have saved up 15 off lately...but haven't been in in a couple months (Travel, etc...I'm otherwise a regular...or at least I was until today). I received an email YESTERDAY, telling me they miss me and they hope to see me soon...with a 5 dollar coupon that says it's good for the next 5 days...and oh, by the way, I've amassed 15 on my loyalty program. We went in this morning....ordered our usual...go to the counter where the not-so-nice-lady tells us that not only do they not take coupons...flat out do not...but not only that.... they canceled the loyalty program weeks ago!!! and yes, the email was from this particular location! Isn't bait and switch illegal? I'm thinking I should report this...but for now, I just want you to know that you will likely be treated poorly if you go here and should check your bill carefully.
UPDATE: I was ignored by the business, complained to the Better Business Bureau and they ignored the complaint. You may think this is about the money, but it's not. It's about not treating a long-time customer like a second-class citizen and having...
