Made a reservation the day before. When I got there I wasn't on the list for the correct time. There were LOTS of open tables and seats, but the hostess asked me to sit at the bar. I said I preferred not to, but she said she had no where else. The place didn't seem busy to me, but it took several minutes of sitting and staring as the bartender bustled about for her to take my drink order. I was there in the afternoon for the Thanksgiving buffet. The selections were very standard: salad (no dressing), rolls, au gratin potatoes, green beans, corn, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes (that looked like refried beans) the lumpiest gravy I have ever seen, something that may have been a bread pudding, and ham and turkey. The pan for the stuffing was empty, one of the three unconcerned employees standing about answered my question as to whether the stuffing would be refilled with a nod. There were no cranberries or cranberry sauce. There was also a giant bowl of grapes, pineapple, and miscellaneous bits of fruit in a melted, soupy mess of cream. I'm sure the bowl should have been in an ice bath to keep it cold. Realizing that I may be standing there for several minutes waiting for the stuffing, I took a roll, some au gratin and mashed potatoes, corn, and a couple pieces of ham. It took a few minutes to get the bartender's attention just to get cutlery and a napkin. The tines of the fork were bent, but I was nearly ready to eat mashed potatoes with my fingers instead of waiting another several minutes to see the bartender again. The au gratin potatoes were undercooked (an impressive feat considering they'd been in their warming pan for several hours!), the corn was inedible, the mashed potatoes were fine, the roll and ham were delicious. My second time through the buffet I got stuffing (yay) and turkey, and a tiny bit of the lumpy gravy. The stuffing was bland, the gravy was too salty, the turkey was good. I asked for a refill and the bartender forgot to bring it. Oh, and the desert table was completely empty the entire time I was there. After all of that, it was still better than "celebrating" Thanksgiving in a traditional way. It's a great building, but the place was dirty and disheveled from a day's worth of hungry hordes. With as far away as this place is, I don't think I'll...
Read moreHad dinner with about 20 friends after hearing great things about this place. We had high expectations. They put us in a separate room with the tables already set but otherwise they were not prepared for a large group. One member of our group ordered appetizers all around and they came out fine, the drink orders went well also. There was only one waitress for our large group which consisted of two large tables. There should have been at least 2 servers for a group this large. The food was brought out for everyone but me. I had ordered salmon with 2 side dishes. When she serves all the meals, I waited 10 or so minutes for mine and she finally came back and asked again what i ordered. I told her and she left and was gone for awhile again. In the meantime, she brought some drink refills. I finally got up to ask about my meal and she said my ticket was lost and she had to resubmit it. She didn't tell me until I asked and she did not explain or apologize. I was just left to wait. She brought my soup out finally but no main course ( this was at least 20 minutes after everyone else was served) so I told her to cancel it. I ate part of my wife's sandwich. Others were not happy with the food. The pizza was frozen pizza that you could have bought at the supermarket. They messed up another order and the server was told to forget it he didn't want a substitute. My wife and a friend never got their salads. No manager ever made an appearance. The one server should have had help serving our large group and when things didn't go well the manager should have come out and explained and apologized. The server didn't apologize to me til she brought our checks. Maybe if you go there with 2 or 4 people it might go OK but forget the large groups. This is not the place. I need to mention that reservations were made weeks in advance so they knew would be there. All in all, a huge disappointment. Do not patronize this establishment or you may be very...
Read moreWe reserved a birthday party here and when we arrived to set up we’re surprised that the room we were rented was shared with another party with some over lap time. This wasn’t a huge deal but would have been nice to know for us and the other party renters. What was a bigger deal though was the side of the room we got was “cleaned” for us but there was cake smashed into several tables, chairs, and the floor as well as soda spit on the floor and chairs. Then after taking care of that we had gotten an ice cream cake for our kiddo and asked them to keep it in the freezer as when we placed the order we were told this would be fine and when they brought it out an hour in the cake was melting all over because they forgot to put it in the freezer and put it in the fridge instead even though I personally told them when I gave it to them again it was ice cream and needed to be in the freezer. We served the now melty cake then asked if they could store it in the freezer the remaining party time as it was super melty at this point they said yes I even double check with them it was in the freezer after the last time and they said “yeah we got it” only to get it back after the party completely melted and dripping out of the box! Not only did they ruin our kids cake but the waitress hardly checked in us and we were running in and out almost the whole time to get drink pitchers re filled or napkins or even plates! I asked a worker who came in about getting some drink refills at one point to which I was told I need to ask the waitress as that’s her job instead of getting any help. I thought the food was good and the kids loved the bounce houses but the staff was not great and I’m very disappointed at the cleanliness as well as professionalism...
