Location was nice, we got to watch a plane land and take off and sky divers while waiting to be seated and after we ate. They let my 7 year old grandson check out the plane and even offered to let him get inside and look which he wouldn't do. They had a air plane thing to play on which he did.
It was confusing for me getting to the restaurant when I have never been there before. It was easy getting from rt 2 to the road you turn on but when I got to where it looked like there was a building straight ahead or going on around to the right I got confused because I couldn't see where the airport was, then with all the campers I thought i was in a camp ground so I went straight out the gravel road which was to the sky diving place, I had to turn around. So if you turn into the camp ground place you'll run into the restaurant.
I think they were short handed so we had to wait a little bit. The guy who waited on us said the lady wasn't supposed to seat us yet but there were empty tables.
It took a good while to get our food and forever to get my grandsons lobster tails.
I ordered the haddock that came with 2 sides for $16 and I added the lobster tail for $12. They charged me $33 instead of $28, I was told it was because I ordered a meal or something but lobster tails were supposed to be added for $12 if you got the entree. They didn't offer just lobster tails as a meal. So pay attention to your bill, they charged my mom $17 instead of $12 for the lobster tail that she added too. Also if you pay with a card you get charged a sur charge. They didn't charge me for my 2 drinks so the $5 extra dollars they charged for the lobster I guess can be for the drinks but my mom still got over charged, that's not right how they do that.
My grandson liked his lobster tails, the haddock was okay and the fries were good. The cat fish bites I couldn't eat they had a weird not good taste. My last drink of pop had something in it, I'm still trying not think about that.
There were several people there and some who came and left because of the wait to be seated.
They have a dog park/area for the dogs. The bathrooms, women's anyway was kinda like a campground bathroom. The bathroom had 2 showers in it. The...

The food? Sure, it was good. But that’s not why you go to Fly In Café. You go because you want to witness the kind of human drama that makes reality TV look like a documentary on beige paint.
At the booth next to mine, a woman was whisper-screaming into her mimosa: “He proposed with a ring he already gave to his first wife, Cheryl. And Cheryl’s a Gemini!” She then toasted to “new beginnings” and Venmo-requested her therapist before the check even came.
Two tables over, a man in a velvet tracksuit stood up mid-omelet and shouted, “Fine, Marlene! Take the house, take the dog, take my mother’s ashes! But you’ll never take my Sunday brunch!” The café applauded. He curtsied. She flipped him off with a spoon.
Meanwhile, someone was weeping softly near the window. Not because they were sad—but because their boyfriend had just texted, “I’m outside,” and it turned out he meant emotionally.
Also, I’m 98% sure a woman named “Kiki” faked labor pains to get out of paying for her avocado toast. Respect.
So yeah, the toast was crunchy. But the...
Read moreThis place is a gem. WW2 airforce themed with surpsingly good seafood. It's good food with a well decorated atmosphere and has a small aircraft air strip right next to the restraunt. People go sky diving and parachuting there. The planes that operate in there are small so you can't even really hear them if they operate while you're in the restraunt and it's fun to take kids to watch the planes if their doing anything that day. Not very expesnive at all, Anywhere from 5$ to about $16 depending on what you want. They can do lobster and steak and of course those cost more.
They're also a mobile lodge meaning you can rent a spot to park your RV, trailer, whatever on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. It's a great place to stop for the night if you're on a roadtrip with an RV. There are some people who literally fly their personal planes to here to eat lol. It's a cool place. Has a bar too if you're into that...
