That said, the food itself? 100% worth it. This isn’t watered-down “mall food court” Thai—it’s the real deal. Every dish actually tastes like home-cooked Thai food, rich in flavor, fresh, and made with care. You can tell they put pride into what they’re serving.

I enjoyed my food but the portions are incredibly small and expensive. I can drive 10-15 minutes away and have comparable quality Thai food for much less money. Even its local competition, Chinese food, is about 1/2 the cost for the amount of food you get. I can’t stress enough how small the portions are and how much it costs. It’s genuinely like half the food you’d get at any other place.

It shouldn’t cost $30-40 per person for Thai food, especially not in Barrington, NH. It’s honestly a shame because I like the food and the people there, but can’t in good conscience support what just feels exploitative prices. Dover and Durham simply have better...

We tried Aroi for the first time tonight since they opened last week. The food was fantastic! It was flavorful and fresh. I was greeted by the owner who was very friendly and welcoming when I arrived to pick up our takeout order. She offered me a complimentary Thai iced tea or coffee (homemade). I chose the tea and she brought me a generously sized to go cup. I love Thai iced tea and this was the best I’d ever had! Our order included mango sticky rice and the mango was perfectly ripe.
