Grayson's Donut Hole — Restaurant in Bartlesville

I wasn't supposed to have donuts anyway! Went to Grayson's Donut Hole this morning.. Noticeable difference in the atmosphere. I thought where are those fabulous people? Where is that warm stepped into mom & pops kitchen feeling??? Hummus okay. Donuts looked different..Is it me? The twist were round which was cute, the girl when I asked what they were said very smuggly "those are regular twists, just round" (very dry tone & seemed irritated that I asked)

I usually get a dark chocolate with chocolate cake donut but, the only options were with sprinkles or with chocolate frosting & a drizzle of white icing..(the cake had that little crunch part I like around the center but, the actual chocolate donut flavor seemed to be muted. The frosting was minimal which is okay. But, the icing only tasted like sugar. (disappointed again) didn't eat it.

The"regular twist just round"seemed to lack that fluffy yumminess I was used to as well & I could taste the oil.( unpleasant to say the least!

Also, my order was incorrect, had to go back in & had attitude from the server..who was not very cordial in the first place! The guy at the register was very friendly & personable.(thank you)

So, that was disappointing. But, then my donuts didn't taste the same either!😞 I gave them away. Not the same!! So I looked it up because 1. the old crew was not there & 2.the donuts were different.

So I found out in Dec.2024 that's when the change was! 15 years of me going there not every week or month but, when I was on town early on a Saturday...I always thought...GRAYSON'S!! I have enjpyed 15 years of consistent service & taste... now it's gone.I think they were open 17 years. Kudos to the original crew! Y'ALL WERE...

First time visiting Grayson's, and man what a place. As soon as I stepped out of my car the incredible smell of fried goodness in the air wrapped me up like a warm blanket. After entering the smell was even more intoxicating, and I found my mouth watering as I peered into the display case from afar, as I was 5 people deep in line. I patiently waited and was rewarded with the most amazing donuts I've ever had. The texture of the dough is unreal, so light and rich at the same time. Perfectly balanced and glazed. Wow!

Great friendly staff as well who were more than happy to answer all my questions. There were no more bacon donuts left when I arrived at 830 on a Saturday, as that's one of their most popular items. I shall be back for sure to try them and to get many more...

Grayson's Donut Hole is great! We love their glazed, maple glazed, and chocolate glazed donuts. Saturday morning Donuts are a tradition in our household. The kids always want to go to Grayson's!
