Seriously amazing coffee! Seven Embers has opened my eyes to real coffee. I'm used to Starbucks haha, but to be fair coming from California, we had a ton of amazing options. Trying a cappuccino from here was my first time ever having caffeine with no sweetener added. When I tell you I actually enjoyed the true flavor of coffee for the first time, WOW it was incredible. They opened a door that maybe should have stayed closed in my life. I'm addicted now, thanks!
In all honesty, this place is worth a visit. They make amazing coffee of course, but also the chai tea is another favorite, and don't get me started on their baked goods. However, what prompted me to finally write a review, was trying one of the new smoothies they offer. Strawberry Banana.. it's a classic we all love it, but now my problem is- I will be needing a coffee and a smoothie every time I visit!!!!
Last but not least, we love keeping up with the fam that runs this gem. They are awesome and always so friendly. They've really got something...

The owner gave them a sample of his Peach, mango, banana & spinach smoothie and they said that it was fantastic too! I bought two bags of his coffee beans to bring back to Illinois. Super nice man, his children are learning how to help in the business- do yourself a favor and check this place out! AND now they serve breakfast and lunch. The breakfast sandwiches...
Read moreMet friend who is local for morning coffee and was excited to try someplace new in the area (no negative to other coffee shops, just excited to try a new place). Warmly greeted by (I assume) the owner who preemptively warned that the Independence Day weekend crowd had used up many of the resources (eggs were out) but as that was not on our requests, we were good to go. I ordered the "I'm a professional batista, trust me." After a few questions of my likes (many) and dislikes (few) he made me a terrific large flavored coffee that was great (and I never asked what was in it and don't care, I am on vacation!). I can give 5 Stars to the Italian Stallion open faced sandwich! A definite place to return to...
