Stopped here for lunch while visiting family. I have to say... Everything was awesome! This establishment is on point and is an excellent example for all!!! It warms my heart to give a true and great review. The staff was professional, kind and FAST & on point. Everything was brought to us fresh, fast and tasted excellent. I had portions for 2 people! Some of THE best bbq & sauce I've ever had (and I live in TX so I eat plenty lol). The peanut butter pie and cookies were excellent as well. We had a variety of meals... cheeseburger w/ mac & cheese, sliced brisket w/ beans, pulled pork dinner, combo dinner w/ shredded brisket & chicken w/ okra & fries. They have daily specials & offer a discount if you pay cash.

Great experience. Waitress is good. Food is prompt. We have same thing every time we go---loaded baked potato. Don't care much for the plastic forks. But when I break one I get new one quickly. I eat the potato skin. I eat my wife's skin. So I use my pocket knife and cut the skin. This saves on forks. I drink water as about all old people do. I ask for "water no ice" but it is always ice cold and I dislike iced water even though no ice is in it. I just want water straight from the tap. So I still am asking for water no ice. I drink it and like it. But we love those...

I have eaten here several times, the service is always excellent. Very nice people, very quick for lunch. The problem is with the food, one day I go in and it’s great, fresh, and delicious. The next time (today) the brisket was so dry I didn’t eat even half of it. My assumption is the first time I had the brisket it was fresh and today it was dried up because it had been sitting for a long time. I have eaten there 5 times 3 great, 1 average, 1 (today) terrible. I always give one pass, but now we are barley above...
