My family and I walked into the business and it was really cold, we sat by a window, and the a/c was blowing on us and made us colder, so when the waitress came over,we said we wanted to move, were too cold, they were not that busy, she said ok. went to another table, I let the young black lady know we didnt move because of her, the other waitress, a young white girl, was a little snotty, I think they thought we were being racist. We recieved our food and the bacon and hashbrowns were very burnt, very little toppings on hashbrowns, I mentioned something and she said "thats the way we cook it" We ate our meal, I waited the whole time for a coffee refill, never got it. So I raised my hands to get her attention, she says in attitude, I was on my way, after that I said forget it, said I do not need any attitude, she said if you think I gave you attitude, just wait, I will give you attitude. We left, even after all this I left her a tip. I have photograph of my wifes meal. We spent $36.17 with tip, I just want my money back, never going to a waffle house again, I have eaten at them off and on all around country, this has to be the worst experience ever. They work hard for this money and their paychecks aren't going to make up for it when they make little to nothing in tips.😔 give them a little grace, please....kindness goes a long way to someone going out of their way to fill your drink, take your order, make sure your food is right, clean up after you, check on you, make sure you're happy, take on your bad mood with a smile, stay 2 hours after their shift is over to get ready for the next day and other various duties. That waiter/waitress is depending on those tips and how they care for you is not based on what you ordered or what restaurant you're in. Fancy or hole-in-the-wall--- they're are ALL making less than $100 dollars/wk in their paychecks!! Take better care of the people waiting on you.... they not only deserve it, they're WORTH it!!🎉🎉🎉 💖💖💖much love to the staff that took care of us last night💖💖💖 See you next...
Read moreWaitress Judy appeared unhappy because we walked over to sit at a booth that she started to clean off. Judy was the only person wearing red in the restaurant. She harshly said give me a minute to clean this table off. We stepped back and waited to sit. When she was done washing the table she left, and we sat. As we sat Judy said something about not getting in the syrup, i told her i wasn't afraid of syrup. We took a couple napkins and wiped off table, for which she insisted on laying the menus in the water on the table. We continued to wipe off table which made her more angry. She started to lay napkins down suddenly she tossed the napkins and silverware in a pile and said, "whatever ", and walked away refusing to serve us. She sent a young kind man to serve us, and he took good care of our table. Her name badge Judy was no longer visible when we left, if she's the manager she's not improving moral. We could see that she was talking about us to the staff at the other end of restaurant. It was a very childish encounter. Never start a table being rude...
