This older Poboy joint is well established, and always has a few customers when I go for lunch. Always greeted as I come in, and I've ever had to wait to take my order. The whole menu is filled with your usual lunch specials, a long with some tasty extras, like red beans and rice with wings. When I'm there, I usually opt out for a burger or a poboy. The bread there is exceptionally soft, and orders are dressed appropriately. Food comes out quick and brought to ya. They also have a drive thru if that's what you're looking for. Overall, they are well worth the visit, and it's the type of place that we all should help keep going in our community. A+++

I don’t get to eat here very often anymore since they moved from Adams Ave way back when, but a couple times a year I leave work early just to come get that chicken fried steak w/ roast beef topping and gravy Poboy and some of those good gravy fries! Whatever you order, you won’t be disappointed. If I had to think of only one complaint, it would be that I wish they had expanded over the years to multiple locations. Go and enjoy their food!

This place was outstanding. The food was great, made me feel like I was home. Looking for a place to get some good ole Louisiana style cooking this is it. I had a hot sausage and shrimp po boy, it didn't make it to the corner. Satisfied customer!!

The food was excellent! It's a simple blue-collar diner, bordering the intersection of industrial road, Choctaw and the neighbourhood road of Monterey. At first, it looks like a hole in the wall diner - and it is, for the most part. But, it has a homey charm that conveys welcome for everyone. The seating area is small; as drive through seems to be its primary pull. But, it's cosy and clean. However, the food choices and prices are superb! Check it out for yourself and we're working on doing a profile...

After going here for months they served me burnt breakfast twice. I complained about it. The owner was nasty with me saying I'm always complaining. I only complained once. I could have erased the positive review however I need my fellow community members to see. They have...
