4/03/2025 Bad experience. Stopped at 'McDonald's' here in Orlando Florida for food on this Thursday night. McDonald's is a personal family favorite fast food restaurant to use when other restaurant are either too busy, or they close earlier than McDonald's does. This 'McDonald's' location is open 24hrs as they are in an area that caters to a crowd that leaves 'Disney World' Parks that close at different times. Some very late,.. ergo this specific location having the "open 24hrs a day" benefit,.. I placed a mobile order for convenience along with my family members' drive-thru order. I paid for said x2 orders and was asked to wait at the additional waiting time reserved spots. The first (drive thru) order was brought out to me and the worker was not aware of my second order. So there was a kind of miscommunication because of the size of the line. Understandable. So I informed the worker of the second order in question. To which he responded "ok I will be right back with your order." I waited in the addition waiting-time designated parking spot for another 10 minutes. When I finally went into the restaurant, no waiter was to be found at the register and when I was finally approached he said he would "be right back." My order was eventually found, after I asked about it. My order was retrieved from the far back counter and was already cooling. Also, I am not sure what the issue was with this matter. But, the receipt (attached to the burgers) was correct, but the order was not correct. I ordered extra shredded lettuce on my x2 double cheeseburgers, and there was none on it at all. Only pickles. As we have a rental car and did not want to spill/ make a mess in the rental. We waited until we returned to the resort to consume the food. I tried to call the restaurant to complain and my phone call was not answered x3 calls in a row,.. This was overall NOT a good experience at all. I definitely will not return to this 'McDonald's' franchise location for the remainder of our 7 day vacation. Definitely a single-star rating ⭐️ This review could definitely use some studying by their staff and with respect should be taken as corrective criticism. Read moreAfter enjoying a day in the magical world of Disney all day on a Wednesday July 6th, 2022, we went to this McDonald's to eat something before going home around 10pm. The line was long for the drive-thru, so we decided to go in, because some of the family members wanted to use the bathroom. While they were using the bathroom, I downloaded the app to start ordering, since we were 5 people in my family. When I finished and paid for my order, I realized that the application says that it will go by the drive-thru and give the order number, but since I was inside the restaurant, I went to the counter to have my order changed to eat inside the restaurant, because the app didn't let me change to that option. Employees were back and forth getting orders to the tables or calling order numbers and quickly left to the back, I was waiting for about 15 minutes on front of the counter until I stopped someone at the counter and was able to assist me so that I could change the pick-up of my order. I was waiting another 45 minutes to receive my order. After I received and verified my order at the table, it was incomplete so I had to return to the counter and wait another 5 to 10 minutes in front of the counter for someone to assist me and explain that my order was missing two large fries 🍟, on my way to the table I returned to the counter because I remember I didn't see the sauces for the nuggets neither, so I had to wait another few minutes to get the attention of someone to get the sauces for the 30 nuggets I order. Since most people order with the app or the terminals inside, there is no one at the counter. they were so busy in the back trying to get all the orders that there was no one in the front and after I received my sauces and my large fries went back to the seat to eat, I order a crispy chicken sandwich meal which normally comes with mayonnaise and pickles it only came with bread and chicken as you see in the picture, but I didn't want to go to stand in line again for that so that's how I ate it and the large 🍟 that I ordered for two meals were incomplete as you can see in the photo, looks like medium 🍟 in a large package (disappointed). Read moreI think a title of "discontented" would be a stretch to the positive side of our experience. We saw there were no cars in the drive thru, and excited about the possibility of no wait we hedged a bet on the possibility of quick service. A mistake was made. The young man who took our order sounded half asleep. We had to repeat the order several times in S-l-o-w clear words before he understood us. Not really a problem... we've all experienced bad tech... but the uncaring droll almost asleep tone was not inspiring.
We paid. Easy enough. Happy girl at the window, bright eyed, chipper, pigtails and friendly smile. She asked us to pull forward. "Uhm to the curb, in front of the red FORD, parked in front of you."
We did. Then we watched 3 more cars park near us. A boy came out and handed bags out to the cars around us. Slouched, uncaring, and completely disinterested in what he was doing. He gave a few cars food. Then came out and played on his phone a bit. Then returned 45 minutes into our wait. He went to the car near us, handed out 3 kids meals, some drinks, and was joined by a second boy. Both dug through the bag looking confused. The bag had 2 stickers with orders printed on them. They were walking towards us, when I saw our number 1329 on one side. "That's us!" I told them. They said what we ordered. Looking really sleepy as they recited the order. "Yup! Ours!" Excited to finally 57 minutes later .... be on our way.... I looked in the bag. Not a single thing was correct. We ordered 2 medium fries, 10 nuggets, a deluxe burger and a jalapeño burger.... We had 3 large fries, 4 cheese burgers, a deluxe burger with no lettuce/tomato/ or sauce.... We returned. Once inside we discovered a third customer who didn't have either numbers on our bag. He had no order, and had been waiting outside for (as he claimed"hours") doubtful, as we hadn't seen him, and we'd been there for 58 minutes. We pulled up at 5:20pm exactly, so recalling the exact time was easy. It was at 6:26 pm that we were finally on our way with our order. The people who helped us at the counter were quite helpful if not completely confused. The food we received (after the ordeal) was hot, fresh, well made, and quite good.
