Service absolutely horrible! No one that worked there had a freaking clue how to service customers and the cooks couldn't get but one meal at a time to our table of 5. My friends granddaughter was completely done with her meal before anyone else was served! My simple order of chicken fingers and onion rings was finally served after everyone was done. They had no ice for drinks, no sausage for the crawfish, no limes for my Corona, but they had lemons, so I said I would take some lemon. 45 minutes later and asking for them 3 times they finally arrived. We had no napkins (which were needed for the crawfish)! Granddaughter never got the salad that came with her meal, and her mom didn't have anything to eat because they were out of what she wanted, so she ordered potatoes and corn for the table (crab boil vegetables). That also didn't come until most the crawfish had been eaten. Poor girl ordered sweet tea, which was sour. It was at least a half hour before she got a replacement, and she received unsweetened tea! Sorry this is so long. That's how frustrating eating at this place was. By the end of the meal, I felt like I worked there, because I, and others, had to go to the owner who was frazzled herself and ask for everything we never got. This was my first visit, made a horrible impression. At least the food was good...

I decided to do a little self care this past weekend and take me, myself, and I on a drive to this place my big sis raved about. Its somewhat hidden, but worth the drive to look for. I had the opportunity to meet and talk with the owner whose also a retired fireman; Sorry I'm not always good at remembering names. Anyways we had a wonderful conversation. He's a very pleasant and warm-spirited person along with the waitress, she was very sweet. Here's what I had to eat: Just because it sounded different, I had to try what I saw on the menu called Seafood "Dinghy"w/ homemade onion rings . Basically its a seafood platter in a bread bowl. The bread bowl was actually toasted with garlic butter in the inside too :). I love me some mac and cheese so I decided to try. It was pretty good for my liking, I would have liked a more creamy consistency, however, it was not bad at all. I noticed everyone chowing down on crawfish, so I decided to try some too. Oh my! They were very juicy and a bit spicy, but good. It definitely helped clear my sinuses, just look at my pics LOL. I also decided to get some bread pudding to go, no pic. However, it was pretty good just a little too sweet for me. I highly recommend you give this little hidden gem a try. I'll be back with my family for the...

We went here looking for boiled seafood . We are from New Orleans , where seafood Can be found on every corner. And living here has been a disappointment especially to find something open Saturday or Sunday when we are off. Well went here off my daughter's suggestion.

There's no disappointment here . As soon as you walk in the smell of seafood hits your nose. The staff was friendly and greeted me with a welcome smile and hey , baby did anyone help you ? The flavor was wondering, you could taste the freshness as well as lemon . The size was a mix of small to large , more medium . And the reds were just as great . It was still spicy enough to give you that kick , but not burning your mouth where you have to stop for a drink. The wait time was about 10-15 since we stopped on Mardi gras weekend and the restaurant was packed. I highly recommend stopping in to the Cajun piece of paradise. I went here , and Saturday my boyfriend returned for more take out. We have not been disappointed and the hide away little restaurant definitely has me as a new...

For the price you absolutely can not beat it. For all of the good i ordered which one is 2 things missing from my pictures it was 113. The amount of food you get for the price you can not beat it at all. Staff from entry to our exit were awesome. Made sure we needed nothing. The only thing you should really know is they charge for drinks by the 20oz which isn't horrible they're 3.29 power bottle but that's about it. I had the shrimp melt, 2 seafood gumbos, shrimp platter, begets, hush puppies, shrimp baked potato, shrimp po boy, jalepeno stuffed boudin, crab balls and onion rings. Every single thing was delicious. The perks of visiting is they are a fish market and restaurant. You can pick your fish or other seafood and they'll cook right there for 2.30. The restaurant itself is not too big there are about 7 to 8 tables that seat up to 4 people at each one. So not overcrowded at all.

If you are looking for good seafood native to Louisiana, then I 100% recommend this little restaurant. I know when you pull up she's not much of a fancy place but let me just say they make up for it in the quality of food they put out and the friendly service. I ordered the catfish and onion rings and my husband got the shrimp and fries. The catfish was melt in your mouth good with just a little kick off spice and the rings were just as good. The shrimp is cooked to perfection! Everything they have is fresh and made daily. The staff was so friendly and answered all our questions about the menu without any fuss or hesitation. You can definitely tell this place puts their heart into making everything and the portion size is worth every penny. This will be a regular stop for us when we travel through Louisiana.
