Lagoon Saloon — Restaurant in Bay Township

ALWAYS good stuff first. It's been a few years since we've been here. Food is always outstanding, super hot off the grill, great prices, great views. Service was terrible at first, then we learned only 2 servers on a Sunday evening. Not very friendly inside when we arrived - we were told to sit anywhere but no "hey, how you doing?", no instructions on ordering, or "your server will be with you", etc. We sat outside & probably waited 20 min or more for a server. A couple sitting at picnic table next, told us we should go inside to order where we then saw a sign to place order at bar. We eventually got a server - she was great! Once orders were placed, drinks & food came fast. Totally understand the backup with only 2 servers. Would be nice to be made to feel...

This is your regular dive bar type of place. Its good for drinking and thats about all. The food wasn't bad. We had a couple pizza's, 2 italian subs and French fries. No table service you have to go to the bar to order. The staff was friendly. But we had to clean our own table because the staff were too busy. After about 10 minutes of waiting We threw away other people's garbage and beer cans. And sanitized our table. I would just suggest to be more attentive to their customers even if they are not you regulars. If things were different we could have become regulars considering the fact that we just moved closer to this establishment. But I dont really think I'd care to come back. Maybe...

Great layed back atmosphere. Really good bar food. Super pizza, burgers, onion rings, and breaded mushrooms, just to name a few items from their large menu selection. Good entertainment with bar games, pool table, jukebox, and karaoke. Lots of good comfortable indoor seating at the bar and at tables. Large outdoor covered dinning patio with views of a harbor and the Portland River. Happy, fast and friendly servers that know how to make great mixed drinks. Don't be fooled by the outside of the building because it looks like a real dive. But it's pretty nice inside. I have to omit, I was a little hesitant about going in. But now I love...
