San Telmo Pizzería — Restaurant in Bayamón

Amaziiiing!!! I'm in the car after just leaving and felt the need to leave a review immediately because this place seems so underrated!

First and foremost, I have to thank and praise our server Karelys. She was so polite, so attentive and so nice.

We drove up and thought the place might be closed because there wasn't a single car parked out front. Many times you see an empty business and automatically assume it can't be that great. Because of the great reviews, we decided to give it a try regardless and I'm SO glad we did!

I went with my dad for dinner. We ordered the knots with cheese and a sportsman of pepperoni, chorizo, mushrooms, tomatoes, and onions.

The knots arrived first and it was extremely difficult to keep ourselves from tearing up the entire dish before the pizza arrived (and saving some for my mom and brother.)

Had it not been for the reviews, I probably wouldn't have ordered the knots and only gotten pizza but I'm glad I did. Get the knots! Trust me!!!

Max 4 people per order though. You won't want to share more than that 😂😂

The pizza was amazing! Not good, not great... amazing! I don't live on the island at the moment but my brother loves pizza and I've heard of other places and their prices and honestly, you can't do better than this.

The sauce tasted homemade, so fresh and delicious. Karelys confirmed that it is, but said she couldn't share the secret recipe (my dad asked)😂

The pizza serves at least 5 people. But at 2 slices each, it serves 6.

It's large, it's heavy, it's tasty and you're going to LOVE IT!

We got the sportsman with the 5 ingredients, the knots with cheese, 3 Coronas, 1 Italian beer they have there and the tab was $60 which was more than reasonable.

I hope they last many, many years so I can continue to visit them every time I come back.

I was getting a haircut and I hadnt ate lunch. I saw the pizza place but because I had a previous experience in this place which wasnt good at all, I went somewhere else. It was closed. Went to a second place. It was also closed. My options were very limited. I didnt wanna lose my place at the barber shop so I walked to yet ANOTHER place and yup... you guessed it. Closed as well. Sigh... fine. Lets go have this bland sauceless pizza once more. But...My experience this time was rather different. The employee told me it had changed ownership but retained the name. I ordered a calzone and although it was a bit greasy, it was nice and toasty and had a good flavor. Kind of reminded me of new york pizza. Although it wasnt a spectacular nor memorable calzone, it was still rather good.

Or perhaps I was just really really hungry. They also had local beer. Which is rare cause well... this is Bayamon. That comodity is usually reserved...

El servicio fue mediocre desde el inicio. Empezando por las meseras las dos con unas caras de aborrecías, con cero ganas de trabajar ni siquiera se presentó ni su nombre dijo (solo Buenas noche, están listos para ordenar) Al pedir las bebidas, la mesera notó que éramos 2 personas y, en vez de ofrecer la opción de jarra de refresco (lo más lógico y conveniente), solo mencionó los vasos plásticos que cada uno tiene un costo individuales por lo que sales mejor pidiendo la jarra. Tuve que preguntar por mi cuenta si tenían jarra, a lo que entonces respondió que sí. Ese detalle demuestra poca iniciativa en el servicio al cliente.

Nací más rápido que comparado a lo que tuvimos que esperar 1 hora y 12 minutos para que nos llevaran la pizza a la mesa, algo completamente inaceptable para cualquier restaurante.

Dos piñas coladas, unas alitas como aperitivo (estaban muy buenas, lo único) y una pizza de 12 pedazos que originalmente era de peperoni, pero pedimos tres ingredientes adicionales. La cuenta terminó en $101 por dos personas, carísimo. Yo los pago con gusto si salgo satisfecho con el servicio y la comida, Lo peor fue que la pizza, incluso con el ingrediente principal que era peperoni, casi ni traía peperoni y los ingredientes extra estaban concentrados solo en el centro no en toda la pizza. Parece que al cocinero le reducen las horas laborables, si se excede de ingredientes o quizá le queman las manos al echarlos 🙄 un cocinero fatal ❌ porque mira que ni ingredientes extra casi traía.

Después se quejan cuando el puertorriqueño apoya más lo de afuera que lo local, yo he pedido una pizza de 12 pedazos con todos los ingredientes extras en Pizza Hut y ni siquiera se me va la mitad, además viene con chocolate Dunkel y palitos con queso.. En esta pizzería nada es incluido todo individual hubiera salido mejor irme a Pizza Hut. NO VUELVO Y NO...
