Upon arrival in the dining area we were not greeted, there were no smiles and the atmosphere was very uninviting. My husband and I have been on traveling OTR drivers and we wanted a bite to eat since we were waiting out the storm and tornadoes. We discussed leaving when we seated ourselves but we gave the employees the benefit of doubt due to the understaffing. The waitress came and gathered our order for drinks but it seem as though the mall was open but nobody was shopping. She didn't seem to have much to say but " what y'all want to drink," no silverware no napkins no straws no happy y'all chose Ihop what can I get you or any of that. I specifically asked for a side of syrup for my husbands drink and she brought the drinks no syrup. That's is not the half of it, she brought out drinks and sent someone else to take our order. He had just got into work for his shift so again benefit of doubt was given. We ordered and I used my rewards for our pancakes. I will review the food after we eat. ok we got some of the food an hour and a half later and there is only one family of 6, one solo guy and my husband and myself here. There was a so much yelling, cursing and hostility here it's kind of pitiful this place is being ran this way. The only good experience here was Egan, he was very considerate and gave some calm in this mess of a storm. I have never been to an Ihop that I didn't want to come back to because of the kitchen and lack of service but this is the first. My advice is for Egan to be trained for a supervisory position because of his conflict resolution skill and tranquility. It's hard to eat in a place where there entire time there is screaming and yelling coming from the kitchen and there was not enough customers to be this ignored. The lack of active listening and and consideration for the customers was unbelievable. I feel that we should be paid for eating here. There was plates still on the table from hours ago and there is nobody here now. the party of 6 left with a quickness and left no tip for the Hispanic waitress but she paid no attention to anyone but then. Egan is being slammed by duties given to him and the rest of the staff is lollygagging. I have pics but Google is not allowing me to upload them until next time...
Read moreWe came in here hoping for a good meal, but unfortunately that didn't happen. Started out we got seated given menus and asked what we wanted to drink after about 10mins we finally got our drinks keep in mind there's only us and 3 other tables occupied and 3 waitresses. Then took another 10mins before our order was taken we both ordered the breakfast sampler said we wanted bacon and ham no sausage links so meaning we should have gotten each 4 slices of bacon and 2 slices of ham. We asked for the bacon to be soft we don't like crisp bacon. Well when order came out we only each had 2 slices of crispy bacon and the ham was super tiny. My husband asked where's the rest of our bacon the waitress said well you said you didn't want sausage links um right meaning there should be more bacon. She just stood there looking stupid and said I am sorry and walked away! Well we ate and after we left and went to shower it's at a truck stop he looked at our receipt and well guess what it states 2 ham /4 bacon when we came out my husband went back and spoke to manager and she wouldn't do a dam thing about it!!! Well we are done with this Ihop and honestly not sure we will visit another. And those that say we should have sent bacon that was overcooked back we don't do that as we have heard horrible stories of what happens to your food when you send back. Good thing my husband paid for it because I would t have...
Read moreI’m giving 3 stars because the waitress was fantastic. Very friendly, and attentive. Restaurant was clean and seating was quick and spaced out. So my boyfriend and I both ordered the Brunch Burger, comes with meat, cheese, bacon and a fried egg. You can get a list of sides to go with it, he got fries and I got the side salad. The cost of each meal was $11.99. My boyfriend asked for lettuce, tomato and onion added to his. After waiting over 30 minutes his came out (done the way he requested but they added pickles) and 10 minutes later my side salad came out. It was lettuce and sliced tomato. That’s all. I was informed they ran out of ranch did I was vinaigrette or honey mustard. At that point I was aggravated that 1- my burger still hadn’t come out. 2- the salad was a bunch of lettuce and 4 small slices of tomato. I asked for my burger to come in a to go box. We were 2 of a total of 5 people in this entire restaurant. Why did the food take so long to make and why not come out together? She brings my to go box and the check. My boyfriends burger went from $11.99 to $15.95 just by adding lettuce tomato and onion. And that was even wrong because they also added the pickles. I wouldn’t recommend going during the day when it’s busier, since this all happened on a Sunday night at 10:00-ish at night. Slow to get food and it not be...
