Bert's Pizza Pub and Gaming — Restaurant in Beach Park

Well my experience was good and bad. First I went here because of an Entertainment Guide coupon I had to use for 50% off one pizza. I first called and asked how many people a 12" feeds. I ordered a 14" ($10.25) w/3 ingredients (3x1.50=$4.50) so that's $14.75. Add 9% tax is $1.33. Subtotal would be $16.08 divide that by 2 because my coupon was 50% off which should have made my total $8.04. But I was charged $8.63 as my total.

When I got home & opened the box, the pizza looked little small so I measured it. It was only a 12" pizza. I called and let the man who answered the phone & who took my order know how the pizza was only a 12" and I was charged over the 14" price.

Now the Good news is the man said he would make me another pizza which I did pick up the next day. I had already figured out approximately how much I was suppose to have paid for my order so I asked what percentage sales tax they charge. I was told 9%. Bad news is that because I was originally charged $8.63 for my 14" pizza, I would suggest anyone ordering from this place to make sure their menus are up-to-date or that they aren't over charging you. Ive been going to this place since it was Frank's n fries and then Alamo pizza. Jen Gs then opened up and it was great loved it. Good pizza and competitive prices. Anytime I would get pizza it would be from Jen Gs. I ordered a small vegetable pizza one night and they told me it would be 45 min with delivery. Mind you I live right across from them so I can literally walk 5 min to get it but I had some friends over so I couldnt really leave. An hour and a half went by and I called to ask about my order and they told me it was gonna be another 30 min? So I told them to cancel my order. 15 min later the delivery boy showed up with a pizza and demanded we pay. He wouldn't leave and was making things awkward so I just grabbed it anyway. Dude, this is the SPOT!!! Came out here from Cali with my brother, his wife's best friend & my husband to go to the Navy graduation, & we drove here to have a drink and food. The guy & bartender who was working were freaking AMAZING!!! They went ABOVE & BEYOND to make us outsiders feel welcomed!!! We got there around 11pm when there were no more cooks, but the guy working went back and made us wings. He didn't have to do that!!!!! & the girl who made our drinks made them soooo damn good!!! They were so nice & it felt good because since landing here, we've felt out of place. I recommend this spot for ANYONE!! You'll get good service, good food, & the atmosphere is unbeatable.
