We were seated quickly. We sat near the kitchen and were able to watch as the cooks stood around not doing much of anything. Our drinks came quickly. Then, it seemed like everything came to a screeching halt. I was hoping the food setting on the kitchen counter for 8 minutes wasn't ours. This is the deal. The portions were small for the price. The meat was dry. The beans were dry. And the coleslaw had no flavor. The servers had no sense of urgency. Didn't offer any bbq sauces. Never asked about our meal till we were ready to leave. It's great to have a local option for lunch in this small community! I stopped in and had the brisket and andouille sausage. The brisket was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor, and I would say the same for the sausage. I'd like to see the pricing a little more reasonable, especially for lunch size portions, but I have no complaints about the food.
