Curtis and his family really have a good thing going here, y'all should all go! I stopped in while riding from New Mexico to Michigan, enjoyed better catfish than I've had since growing up in Texas, and was treated to a number of Curtis' stories. Don't let the quiet surrounds keep you away - the elevator entrance on the west side of the building leads to only good things!

The food was great but could use a little more seasoning. I had the catfish fritters. They were great. The atmosphere was nice and there was a good view of the river. They are also not scared to try out new recipes. They just launched a sloppy joe that looks and tastes very good. recommend this place

Diamond in hiding. I put a pic of the entrance in. On vacation wife say a very small sign right on the river. Great view. The people were great and friendly. Take the elevator to floor 2. Inside joke. Food was very good and priced right. Great old building inside. A must see.

This is a location that is simply unpleasant to be in. The entrance is essentially a backdoor, up a rickity old elevator that smells like ear wax. When you arrive, you are welcomed to a very unpleasant atmosphere. There's just... Stuff. There are nice things on the wall, fitting for the style that it seems they tried to go for. But there's several areas of the restaurant that just have a lot of junk in it. We went on a Sunday, which means they only had the buffet. And the buffet was... Adequate. Great chicken, okay fish, and a sad salad bar. The server was great. Although, there was only one. But they did a great job.

I don't know how it is when you are able to order food there, so I will leave it this review here. I did not like this place. It felt like entering someone's basement...

This experience starts with an unassuming building and an elevator. Hit #2 and get ready for a surprise!! A very unexpected surprise of ambiance and originality. This place has a River view in a very cool long dining room, ample bar area and "The Hangar" that would be the most amazing place for receptions, holiday parties or reunions, etc... Go check this place out!!!! Great food, owners and a hidden gem in Beardstown. This could be THE new spot. The best hand made tenderloin...

Some of the best tasting fried chicken. Pieces were smaller than they used to be, but so very good! Burgers were huge (thick) and looked delicious. The small tenderloin was big and looked good. Fish looked good. Packaged tartar sauce. I'd make it home made and play it up big time to go with the river theme. Don't know if that's economical though. Food is good enough that this place should be packed...
