Maria's Cocina in Beaver, UT. It's located in a small wooden cabin in the KOA Cmapground. It is more than worth the stop or in our case the drive from Iron County to enjoy a fabulous meal. Their homeade Salsa is worth the drive alone, regular or spicy, they are both perfection paired with chips. (To go salsa is a must for us every time we've been there). It is a quait atmosphere, with limited seating, so consider that when making plans. (No reservations, but they do a robust volume of take out orders too.) We've had something different every time we've been there and we've loved them all. HIghlights include, Shredded beef tacos, Beef Chimi, Chicken Burrito and Chicken Enchiladas, The Steak Ranchero, Chilie Verde with Pork...Deep Fried Ice cream and of course their lemonade. Who knew Lemonade could be that good? Pricing is extremely reasonable too. Do yourself a favor, plan a trip to Beaver, just so you can...

It was difficult to enjoy our meals when most of the time was spent protecting our plates and swatting at the nasty things. Last summer we made our first visit to Maria's Cocina, we don't recall having issue with flies then. Nevertheless we would recommend the place and look forward to visiting again - but perhaps not in...
Read moreWe were a party of 11 with advanced reservations for 5:00 p.m. on a Saturday. We were seated immediately on arrival and were served chips and salsa and drinks. It's a very rustic atmosphere. We had to ask a second time before receiving one of the delicious lemonades we had ordered. The food was good, and as mentioned, the drinks(horchata and lemonade) were delicious. Our food orders were brought out a full 20 minutes apart from first to last, which wasn't ideal. Maria's mild and hot salsas are my favorite anywhere! When Maria's is open and I'm in Beaver, you can bet I'm getting some salsa! One in our party ordered the fried ice cream and said it was...
