Tried this place today, and I honestly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for good service or authentic Indian food. Service: Virtually non-existent. We walked in and were met with zero acknowledgment or welcome. The staff seemed completely disinterested. The person at the counter had serious communication issues and could barely explain the menu. It felt like they didn’t want to be there, and that reflected in the service. Zero stars for hospitality. Food: Chicken Tikka Masala—except it wasn’t. The chicken was not roasted as it should be in any proper “tikka” dish. It was dry and overcooked, and calling it “tikka” is misleading. The gravy was passable, but the dish overall missed the mark entirely. If you’re looking for authentic flavor, this isn’t the place. Beverages: I specifically asked if the Mango Lassi was made with real mango and yogurt. Was told yes. Halfway through the meal, I asked again and was told it’s just mango pulp and sugar. That’s not what I signed up for. Misleading and disappointing. Ambience: No one checks in to ask how the food is or if you need anything else. You have to flag someone down even for basic things like to-go containers. It feels like a ghost kitchen trying to pass as a dine-in spot. Zero attention to customer experience. Overall: Giving 3 stars only because they are a new place and could use some support—but they really need to get their act together if they want repeat customers. As of now, I won’t be returning.

I came here to pick up food for my lunch break and I was very surprised how nice it was in there. The man at the counter was so sweet and offered me water while I waited for my food because he thought it was hot outside. It wasn't but it was super sweet. He also opened the door for me when I got the food. I wanted to write this review simply for that man and how nice the place was. Now that I'm home and trying the food. I have Zero complaints other than wishing the curry was spicier but that's fine. The food is delicious! And they took note of removing onions from one orders. I got the yucca fries, butter chicken medium spice, two samosas and the channa masala with samosas. The chicken is high quality and in nice slices. Everything is wonderful and I'm mad at myself for not coming here sooner. We live practically across the street! I definitely want to come back and sit at their little bar for a beer or two with my yucca fries! One more thing to note. Some Indian restaurants are super oily and heavy. This wasn't. It felt a lot healthier without lost flavor or anything. It's perfect. Thank you!

We had an amazing dining experience at Pattaka Indian Cuisine, where we tried a variety of dishes, including butter chicken, naan, corn masala, chicken 65, gulab jamun, and handmade kulfi. The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, with perfectly tender chicken pieces. The naan was fresh, soft, and the perfect complement to the butter chicken’s sauce. The corn masala was a pleasant surprise, offering a great balance of sweetness and spice, making for a unique and delicious vegetarian dish. For appetizers, we had chicken 65, which was crispy, well-seasoned, and had just the right amount of heat—an absolute must-try. To end our meal on a sweet note, the gulab jamun was warm, soft, and perfectly soaked in syrup, while the handmade kulfi was creamy, authentic, and a fantastic way to finish off our meal. Beyond the food, the ambience at Pattaka Indian Cuisine was warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we can’t wait to return to try more dishes! Highly recommended for anyone craving great Indian food in Beaverton.

I was part of a large group of friends who were fortunate to try this new Indian fusion restaurant in Beaverton, Oregon.

Many dishes were tried and all were enjoyed. Stand out dishes: The Lamb Vindaloo Tacos were amazing. Three large generously spiced tacos were literally one of the best things I have eaten in a long time. Highly recommend this dish. The Goat Biryani was delicious with a nice zing of spicy heat at the end of each bite. The Tikka Masala Wings were perfectly done and had just the right amount of heat. Cheesy Tikka Masala Yucca Fries were a nice cheesy treat. A piping hot bowl of Traditional Chicken Tikka Masala did not disappoint with large tender chunks of meat while accompanied with a large bowl of rice.

The atmosphere is of a very basic strip mall design, but the interesting and colorful wall murals break up the monotony. Prices are reasonable.

Several beer taps and bottles, cider, hard alcohol, and fruit smoothies are offered. Unfortunately, the beer taps were not working when we visited, so I settled for a cold bottle of Stella.

The chef made a fun visit to the table. He thanked us for our patience as he makes each dish himself and explained how he buys, toasts, and grinds his curry spices himself. No packaged concoctions in his restaurant.

The owner/chef’s attention to detail and traditional flavors are evident and I look forward to future visits when I’m back in Beaverton. If this gem was in my hometown, I would be there on a regular basis.

A diamond in the rough of nondescript strip malls…. Make it a point to visit, expect delicious food, and you won’t be...
