No bags. None at all available.
They had a few of the tiny overpriced reusable ones hidden on one carrousel behind a row of employees. I guess people were stealing them? Regardless they are barely big enough for two cartons of milk. If I am going to buy a bag I want it big enough to carry a fair amount of groceries and it should be available when I’m checking out. But they weren’t… I guess it’s nice to see they have employees now though even if they are just standing around policing the self checkout register lines and hiding reusable bags…
Walmart has no plastic or paper bags at all any more. It’s a new store policy BUT their stupid computers still make you select how many bags you use so they can try to rip you off via the dictatorial bag tax forced down everyone’s throats. Your votes or opinions as a consumer or citizen are no longer considered by any politician or company any more. Which brings up - who gets that .10 fee that you pay for the bags? Hmmmm kinda like the unredeemed can fees. Somebody is making money off consumers under the guise of “saving the environment”.
Walmart probably makes a fortune selling those tiny reusable bags for $1. It’s probably their number one best seller. So they don’t mind doing it! They probably lobbied politicians for the whole thing!
The whole premise behind getting rid of plastic bags might be valid if we switched to paper. I disagree because I reused the plastic ones for trash bags or dog poop etc. but hey someone somewhere does something wrong with them so nobody can have them anymore in the state of Oregon. We’ll pretend they don’t make biodegradable plastic which would’ve been a solution. And we’ll also ignore the sanitary considerations of reusing bags carrying eggs meat etc. forget about the cost or waste from people dropping groceries because they didn’t have a bag. Instead of small thin plastic bags most people spend $5 on “reusable” bags that they then have sitting in a pile in their house until they end up throwing THOSE out or losing THOSE instead of the ones that aren’t as bad for the environment. Many considerations they didn’t address but the bottom line: Walmart not offering viable bag options to their customers is inexcusable. I’m...
Read moreNormally I don't give public reviews, but today the 24 hour Wal-greens on Murray/Scholls Dr. gave me no choice. The pharmacist and staff were without question reasonable, compassionate, and worked together diligently to solve many customer’s medicinal concerns, including my own. See, I use to go to the 24 hour Walgreens pharmacy in Tigard. For that reason, I am guilty of being impatient with Walgreens pharmacy service in general. I can relate to anyone sitting, waiting for a prescription for nearly two hours. Time and time again I had issues relying on the 24 hr. Walgreens on 99 in Tigard: told 20min. wait times, then 45 min. later told 10 more min. at the most for it to be in reality 30 more min. until I’m released with my prescription, like it was prison. Let me be the one to set the record straight, every location is different in terms of the staff caring for customer health and wellness, as well as quality in generics, and quality care is what Walgreens pharmacy on Murray/Scholls Dr. Is. On the other hand, I don't think it's unreasonable to say, Walgreens pharmacy in Tigard is just the opposite, like wearing two left shoes; two 24 pharmacies, same company, but one of them just doesn’t fit like the right one. Save yourself some time and heartache, and go the extra mile to choose Walgreens 24 hour, pharmacy, Beaverton. Just act as though you have never got the run around, hurry up and wait disregards of service like at the other pharmacies. Being courteous, polite, and reasonable will serve you throughout your life in many ways, including here.

The meat alternative products section in frozen at this store is as well or better than Safeway or Albertsons.
I've been impressed with store selection. Lots of interesting brands not found elsewhere locally and more local products in food aisles carried than ever before.
Tradeoffs - sometimes gaps in cleaning supplies/ health products. More beauty than many grocers but less than Walmart or Target.
Prior review: Efficient. Clean. Includes a full deli counter but no bakery or service meat. (Walmart doesn't normally have service meat or seafood, but making sure that's known)
Small but helpful general/seasonal merchandise aisle. This is a Walmart Market, so don't expect to find all the categories you would in a supercenter or discount store.
Previous tenant was Haggen Food & Pharmacy but you'd never know that from the fully revised interior.
The few staff interactions I've had are okay and some employees seem to be staying long term.
Edit: with Thanksgiving and Oregon freeze for COVID19, had to wait on grocery pickup but nice nice associates despite...
