Ok... So i live the n the area and i am a black man. An individual that is known to the establishment was speaking some not nice things and i approached him, in a way that was not aggressive but matter of fact. The bar tender told me after i apologized, that i made the situation bad when i approached the man that was being disrespectful. She also would not speak to me about it because I was not allowing her to explain my point about the situation. She made it more about her then the actual situation. I am absolutely heartbroken and disappointed in a business that allows an individual to verbalize racial bigotry and shield them. Like it's a normal thing for the area. I call for a boycott of this establishment. There is no place for this in our society anymore! I am hurt and will not rest until this is rectified! If you like old school dive bars* (without smoking, thank you!), this is your place. The building is awesome. The beer is cheap, the food is super reasonable and amazingly good, the service is fantastic, and the local entertainment is off the charts. One of the best burgers I have had in a while. The fries were really good. Everyone was raving about whatever they were eating. It was the closest place to our pilgrimage site, plus we needed something fast. And wow, we were blown away with everything we had! Best darn burgers we’ve had in a long, long time, and I am not even a burger person! Oh and it’s cheap considering how loaded it was!
